Pool Tool 104-F Anti Electrolysis Zinc Anode Pool Light Protector

I didn't know my inground saltwater pool needed this until I did. Now I do. Time will tell. Inexpensive insurance, hopefully.

Not much to say: these things reduce corrosion in the pool, and assessing their effectiveness takes years. These are similar to, but less expensive than things that were sold to me by the pool manufacturer.

My chrome surround on my pool light would turn black due to electrolysis in my pool water. I placed this anode on my underwater light as was directed in the accompanying instructions. Works great. Underwater Light stays bright chrome like new. Would buy this product again.

We needed this for our endless pool brand ‘swim lane’ to replace the anode. We ordered this one and another form endless pool and it is exactly the same.

These things actually create the problem they are advertised to solve. The “science” behind these for a pool application is dubious at best. Bought one for each pool light and all they did was create galvanic corrosion. Made a huge mess and turned the stainless light rings black. Had to spend a Saturday cleaning everything up. Since removing them, the lights have stayed in perfect shape. After that ordeal, I looked into the claims made on these things and they are 100% bogus in a pool application. Do your homework before you hit the buy button…
