Fine for careful .177 & .22 cleaning, but best for .177, great for a "range bag", good value
Everything was as expected. A magnet shows that the brass parts are indeed brass, while the centers of the brushes and the flexible puller are steel. Everything screws together smoothly, securely, and with no "play", including the .177/.22 adapter. I've not really used this kit, but have examined the parts and probed a .177 barrel to be sure there are no oversized parts (rods, jags, etc.). Everything that should go down a .177 barrel does. With care it should hold up to considerable use, and these brass rods do require care to avoid flexing and breaking, that is just the way they are. Using the .177 rods in .22 barrels could allow undesired flexing, and damage without particular care - again, just the way it is. My experience is that air guns do NOT require the intense scrubbing that firearm barrels sometimes do, to remove carbon and lead fouling. There should be minimal lead fouling and no carbon fouling in most air gun applications (no dieseling, etc.). The brushes are probably stiffer than needed. I intend to use these mostly in a "range bag" for stuck pellets, removing any excess lubrication, etc., and use other tools for routine barrel cleaning at home. Something as simple as a length of weed whacker line, angle cut at one end to form a point, and heated to form a blob at the other, can be used to impale and pull a swab through a barrel, doing all the cleaning many air guns barrels will ever need. Only minor complaint: there were a few tiny fragments of brass visible clinging to the cloth interior of the case. Likely chips from machining the brass parts. Remove all the parts and wipe them down, picking out any little shiny brass bits you see in the case, and you'll not risk getting any brass "junk" into your barrel or seals.

Works
I recently purchased a .177 caliber air gun and needed a cleaning rod for it. I'd actually prefer a continuous rod but couldn't find one on Amazon. This one looked like it would do the job. You must screw rod sections together to get a length long enough for the barrel of your gun. It has tips for .177 caliber and .22 caliber. I didn't use any of the .22 caliber tips. For .177 you have to use a small cloth patch. If you try to use a standard sized patch, it won't go down the .177 barrel. While I haven't broken anything the system feels like it's somewhat fragile. I think if Iโm careful it will work okay.

A good choice among the many many such cleaning kits.
If you look, there are literally dozens of these cleaning kits for .177 and .22 cal airguns. Basically you have to compare how many assorted attachments you get, whether there is a convenient way to store the whole shebang, and how much the cost is. After looking at these various choices til I was cross-eyed I concluded this was probably about the best deal I could find for number of pieces and a convenient storage pouch. This is a good assortment of pieces and attachments, and stores conveniently in its storage pouch. I'd recommend it.

Nice cleaning kit
my son got a pellet gun for his birthday and it needed to be cleaned before first use. This kit did the trick. Worked perfectly and a great price. Plus he can use it for future cleanings. Itโs nice that it comes in a case so hopefully heโll keep it together and not loose single items. Iโm pretty sure he might still loose it because things in his room seem to go into a void but weโll see. It was easy to use and cleaned the gun sufficiently.

Patch size is important!!!!
This is my second purchase because the included patches are only for 22cal barrels and the brass cleaning rod broke using on a 177cal air rifles because the patch is to thick and the brass to flimsy and ended up with a stuck piece in my barrel that I had to use a pellet to shoot out to ramove. No damage to barrel but the kit was pretty much useless. I cut the remaining patches in half long ways and now those are my 177cal only patches for cleaning. The company should have noted this in their information!
