If your other radio is also analog radio, and other radio also works at the range 400-470 MHz, you can get them work together (but if your other radio is digital radio, they won't work together).

In the description it state that the microphone can be used as a "palm mic" The cord is not long enough. Is this a mistake?

I believe so, my cord was not long enough to be a palm mic either.

Are these wearable on both ears? The one that come in the box with the radios only work good with left ear.

Yes, the over-the-ear plastic can be worn on either right or left ears. You just have to twist it to change ears (it's designed to be able to be twisted). I bought these as replacement when I broke some of the originals, but the originals I got where able to be worn on either side as well. You just have to twist the holder plastic to the other side.

Opened thin plastic bag with all 5 pairs totally loose and tangled together, one set broken. Upon further inspection, every single headphone also had earwax and other stuff in it. Purchased NEW.
