Not bad, but takes a little getting use to.
I still prefer the regular ranch seeds, but those arent available at a decent price. These were a good alternative but they dont taste that much like ranch, they have more of a spicy cheesy flavor with a ranchy aftertaste. They arent too salty but they do have a slight kick to them, the flavor is bold and sort of reminiscent of very mild hot wings with some ranch on it. While i still prefer the regular ranch flavor, these arent a bad option and i would definitely buy them again if they havent stocked the original yet.

A Baseball Essential!
A Baseball Essential! It’s Major League Baseball season, and that means one thing in our house — long evenings at the ball field, the crack of the bat, the smell of fresh-cut grass… and sunflower seeds in the dugout! ⚾ My son is behind the plate this season, geared up, focused, and giving it everything he’s got. And if you know baseball, you know there is one timeless, unspoken rule: baseball and sunflower seeds go hand in hand. It’s just tradition. It’s ritual. It’s part of the experience. And let me tell you — these sunflower seeds are EVERYTHING. First of all, the size. They are HUGE. Not those tiny, disappointing little seeds where you feel like you’re working overtime for a crumb. These are big, plump, perfectly roasted seeds that actually feel satisfying. You crack them open and there’s a real, solid seed inside every single time. No empty shells. No letdowns. Just consistent greatness. The flavor? Absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned. Not too salty, not bland — just that classic ballpark taste that keeps you reaching for another handful. Whether you’re in the stands cheering your heart out or in the dugout staying loose between innings, they’re the perfect snack. There’s something calming about cracking seeds during a tense inning. It’s almost therapeutic. They keep the boys occupied between pitches. They keep the parents happy in the bleachers. They just belong at the field. There’s also something nostalgic about it. Watching my son crouched behind the plate, dirt on his cleats, sweat on his brow, sunflower seeds nearby — it feels like pure Americana. Like a scene straight out of a summer movie. These seeds aren’t just a snack; they’re part of the memory-making. And let’s be honest — the bag doesn’t last long in our house. Once it’s open, it’s game over. Everyone grabs a handful. They’re fresh, crunchy, and addictive in the best way. If you’re heading into baseball season and don’t have sunflower seeds in your bag, are you even doing it right? These are hands down the best choice. Big. Flavorful. Fresh. Ballpark-approved. Five stars all day long. Would absolutely buy again — and probably will all season long. ⚾🌻

Robust Flavor and Plump Seeds
Very flavorful fun snack. If you are into serving sizes, know that 1/4 cup isn't a lot of seeds with this lip smacking flavor. The seeds are plump and large, making the labor worth it. Warning, you'll want to eat the flavor dust 😆

Great seeds, solid flavor
The flavor combo here actually works really well; you get a decent kick from the buffalo upfront, but the ranch mellows it out so it isn't overpowering. As expected with DAVID, the sodium level is very high, so be prepared for that salt burn if you're chaining through the whole bag. The "jumbo" label is accurate—the shells are consistently large with very few duds or empty seeds. It's a solid change of pace from the original flavor, just make sure you have water nearby.

Awful tasting
First off I want to start with I have ate and regularly do eat many sunflower seeds. Most of the ones I consume are from the David brand. I absolutely loved buffalo ranch, but have been putting these off because I simply just didn't think I would care for that flavor of sunflower seeds. They are cheap and I finally figured I would go for it, and they are far worse than I expected. Prior to this review, unlike most of my amazon shopping, I never read the reviews for this product. It now makes sense to me though. These taste absolutely nothing like buffalo ranch, and (at least the bag I received), tastes like rear end to say it in kindly. There is not a single ounce of anything that resembles buffalo or ranch. They are not hot, I'd say their cracked pepper line even has more of a kick. Everything aside, I had a few handfuls to be sure, and will not consume the rest of the bag.

The flavor is yuck, but the bags i got are some amazing seeds! QUALITY CONTROL?
Let me start off by saying, I consider myself a sunflower seed connoisseur. More than that, I am both a ranch and a buffalo connoisseur. I am sad to say that despite the excitement I had initially seeing this flavor, it falls flat in a big way. I’m not sure what exact flavor they’re going for here, but it’s honestly pretty gross and bears no resemblance to ranch or buffalo. However, I am also a big David’s brand specific seed gal. I have tons of other flavors (my favorites: ranch, cracked pepper, and frank’s red hot) with which I am obsessed and always eat tons of. All this being said: giant upside i can give to SPECIFICALLY THE BAGS I RECEIVED is that this order of grossly flavored seeds are some of the BEST most DELICIOUS and PERFECTLY cooked and CRUNCHY seeds I’ve found in ages. YUM. Seriously, this batch of seeds themselves redeemed the gross flavor. Which is actually a lot, considering some of my fav, delicious flavors have been seriously YUCK on the seed quality lately. Overall, this flavor has actually exponentially grown on me because the seed batch is so good! David’s, let’s have some quality control meetings my love.

Delish treat.
Fresh, tasty, and a good price. 4 stars due to the consistently empty shells.

Fresh and tasty.
Package was fresh, big enough to share, and the size quality of the seeds in bag was good. Would purchase again!

I love David sunflower seeds when I lived in the USA, now living the the UK figured I'd give them a try, same kind you get in the State. They are so enjoyable and will order more, I don't think these will last long, I eat sunflowers rather fast, I'm a big fan of them.

Disgusting that a product nearly a year past expiry date has been sent out! Do NOT order from here!
