Antler Farms New Zealand Beet Root Powder - Organic, 40 Servings, 200g

I purchased the beet root powder because I've read that it can help reduce blood pressure. I looked at quite a few brands before choosing the Antler Farms brand. It's higher priced than other brands, but the quality, non GMO, no added sugars, and product origin are important to me. It mixes well with water and taste fine to me, but I like beets. Although it has not reduced my blood pressure as of yet, I will keep taking it for at least 3 months to give it some time, and maybe continue taking it regardless because it has other health benefits.

This purchase of beet powder has really helped lower my blood pressure. Will purchase again.

Better than pretty much all the rest. Traceable by region, an amazingly nice product to use taste wise. I can only assume that the same is true of the quality, as well.

I started by taking two tablespoons of this product. The very next day I felt terrible. Lethargic, heavy with terrible brain fog. I thought I just slept bad and didn't think anything of it. The following day I took two tablespoons and I could barely function at work. No energy whatsoever and my BPM were very low. The following day I took only one teaspoon and I was bed ridden for the whole day. Then it dawned on me, could it be from this product? After looking into it a bit more, everything I just described (including gut issues) can be caused by taking highly concentrated beetroot. Taking this has ruined several days in a row. I have no choice but to throw this product away.

Okay here are the things I would've liked to know before I purchased: 1. Doing one scoop of this will have you focused like crazy for the next 60-90 minutes. I was seriously shocked at how much it zoned me in. 2. If you're wanting to take this as a pre-workout go for it! Blood flow definitely increased and I could tell my heart enjoyed what I just drank. 3. Brutal honesty here. The taste is really not good. I just chug it because I know how healthy it is. 4. There are other beets powders out there but this one contains the most concentrated version of it. For that reason as well, I highly recommend it.

Overall I have no complaints. According to the spit test strips, this really increases nitric oxide in you system! Definitely more blood flow. This also doesn't knock me out of ketosis like other beet root powders I've tried! My only complaint is the ziplock on the bag is rubbish. It doesn't mix the greatest but that's expected of any sort of ground up plant powder. I'd actually be worried if it did dissolve. If you're looking for a quality beet root powder that's pure with no added ingredients, look no further! ESPECAILLY if you're on KETO!

This is my first try with the beet root, it’s as described; you need to love the taste of beets to appreciate the flavor! I love love love the Wheatgrass, I feel great while I’m taking it; however, this time I opted for Super Greens and haven’t the same feeling of energy. It’s been a while since I’ve ordered and am VERY disappointed with the change in packaging, people will pay a little more if it means keeping the product safe, clean and secure. Unfortunately, the cheap zipper bag (beet) broke on day 4; needless to say, although I love the products, I will be shopping for alternatives.

This powder is excellent as I expected for a freeze dried product. I use it in place of heart chews to control blood pressure. I take it with 300 mg of grape seed extract purchased separately. For 20 cents less per serving I get 10 times the beet powder and 2 times the grape seed extract. I will buy this again. It doesn't completely dissolve because it is whole beet powder not beet juice powder which is a good thing.
