Great sleep mask
This mask fits so well and really does block out all the light. I sleep better with it in an unfamiliar place, so I use it extensively for traveling, plus weekends when I don't want the sun to wake me. After 8 years, the elastic has stretched out so much that it's time to replace it. But 8 years is a great run!

Great for after lasik
I purchased these for my wife after lasik so that she wouldn't rub her eyes while sleeping. They don't put any pressure against your eyes so they are a perfect choice for after lasik care

Side by side comparison of three sleep masks-Nidra has a flaw, but is my favorite
This is a side-by-side comparison of three masks:Earth Therapeutics Mind/Body Therapy Sleep Mask, Cotton, SilkBedtime Bliss® Contoured & Comfortable Sleep Mask & Moldex® Ear PlugsPremium Quality Eye Mask with Contoured Shape By NidraI've used the Earth Therapeutics soft mask for five years, and the the Nidra and Bedtime Bliss masks for the last several months. All have their advantages and disadvantages. My favorite is now the Nidra mask, but it has an important flaw.I sleep from after midnight until 8am, and my bedroom is bright. Therefore, I need a mask that will stay on for seven or eight hours. If it shifts when I move during the night, it will not be covering my eyes when the sun comes up.Although I used it for several years, the Earth Therapeutics mask does the worst job of staying in place all night. I think this is because it does not have as much shape or structure as the other two masks. Also, it presses on your eyes, making it a bit less comfortable than the other two masks. I no longer use this mask. The Nidra mask does the best job of staying in place. It is also slightly larger than the Bedtime Bliss mask, and feels a bit more comfortable. However, the Nidra has a flaw: Although they all have the same length band, the elastic on the Nidra band has a bit more tension than the Bedtime Bliss or the Earth Therapeutics masks, which means that it is too tight on my fat head. I have actually had to extend the strap with a piece of dual-sided velcro strap in order to make it comfortable. Now it fits the best and stays in place better than the other two masks. The Nidra mask is about 3/4 inch or 2cm wider across the eyes than the Bedtime Bliss mask. If you have a small or narrow face, you may want to try the Bedtime Bliss mask firstAs far as light blocking and comfort go, both the Nidra and the Bedtime Bliss do a good job. Therefore, my choice is the Nidra because it stays on better after I make the strap longer.Summary: I have stopped using the Earth Therapeutics mask. The Bedtime Bliss and Nidra are very similar, but the Nidra fits me better and stays in place longer. If you have a large head like me, the Nidra mask will be tight. If you have a small or narrow face, try Bedtime Bliss.

Simply Awesome!!!
Simply awesome. I just ordered three more. I travel extensively in my work (30+ weeks a year) and suffer from dry eyes. I wear this mask every night - as well as on airplanes. It not only keeps everything nice and dark (black) but also protects my eyes from drafts from hotel air conditioners and such that cause problems with the dry eye issue.Since I have a rather large nose, it is really nice that the nose area is cut out. Every other mask I have tried allows light in around the nose, but this one does not. It fits firmly and snugly to block out all light, but is also extremely comfortable. Why did I order three more? Because I keep one on my headboard at home, one in my suitcase for use in the hotel, and one in my backpack for use on the airplane. They do eventually wear out, but in my experience, that takes about four to six months of nightly use. So the three I ordered are replacing a couple I bought many months ago - plus I'll have a spare.I am a bit of a wild sleeper - I sleep on my back, side, and stomach through the night. This mask stays put, and it keeps the light out as well as the drafts. And it is extremely comfortable. Literally, the only problem I have had with this mask is that if I get up in the night, I will sometimes forget I have it on and walk into things (yep - I'm a klutz). But my point is, it is so comfortable, you forget you have it on.Lastly, I traveled over a million air miles and could NEVER sleep on airplanes due to the light and noise. In the last year, I have started wearing noise cancelling headphones and this mask. I now sleep on almost every flight. It is wonderful!I simply cannot recommend it highly enough.

Black dye stains face.
I won't disagree with the reviews that say that the mask is comfortable to wear. It is comfortable. I wore this once, and it was comfortable. But when I looked in the mirror in the morning, I had black dye from the mask, around my eyes and eye sockets. "Oh, okay, well, I'll just remove the dye," I thought. I first grabbed my excellent Lancome eye makeup remover, which usually removes everything (waterproof makeup etc); it could not remove the black dye. So then I got some Dove soap (unscented, with no dyes, because I was going to be using it around the eye area). Dove soap would not work to remove any of the black dye. I tried a couple of other cleansers, and none of them could completely remove the dye. So I showered, and soaped up the face more, and did some scrubbing. Some of the dye came off, and some remained around the eye socket. By the end of the day, the dye seemed to be coming off. Anyway, I didn't want to wear the mask a second time, due to this issue. As I look at the mask, it seems cheap; for the price, the materials seem cheap. Hopefully the manufacturers will make some improvements.

They have changed this for the worse...
I bought the old version about a year ago to replaced a cheap sleep mask that I had been using to see if I liked them. I decided to get one of these since the reviews were glowing everywhere and it had several features that I was looking for. I have been extremely pleased with the mask for the last year and was looking to replace it with a new one due to the elastic starting to be too stretched out.I received my mask and was immediately disappointed. The box was cover in filth and looked to have been stepped on, which is Amazon's fault not the manufacturer. Upon opening it I immediately came to realize that this is not at all the same mask I got a year ago.The mask part is about 10-15 percent smaller than the old one, which for my face means that there is a high likelihood of light leaking in. It is a subtle change and if I didn't have my old mask here to see it I probably wouldn't notice. The bigger issue is they completely changed the strap. Gone is the elastic and velcro which was a godsend for me and replaced with an odd feeling almost plush strap and a metal adjustment buckle. The strap feels odd in a bad way and uncomfortable to touch, I can't even imagine wearing it all night. The bigger issue personally is the metal buckle. On my previous cheap mask it would dig into my head at night and feel very uncomfortable. As the elastic stretched out and I had to adjust it this just became worse.Needless to say this mask does not at all have the features I am needing in a sleep mask anymore. I am going to be returning it for a refund.

This is helpful in blacking out for sleep

Great for resting eyes on a flight
I have been using this on planes to sleep and it effectively blocks out light and is easy on the eyes as it does not press on them at all.

This product does not look like the photo. The mask is thin without any contour for the nose as shown in the actual Nidra mask without any logo on the strap. Very flimsy strap. This is not a luxury mask or even a branded product shown in the Amazon website. Very disappointed. Have requested for return and refund

Genuine Product - Great Night’s Sleeps
Product was received was genuine. It is as described - comfortable and stays on all night. Had to adjust it the first couple of nights as there was some light that came through the nose bridge. But managed to adjust it so that no light came through.
