High Power Red LED Flashlight, Single Mode, Long Range, 150 Yards, 200 Lumens, Black, Red Light Torch for Astronomy, Aviation, Night Observation

Portablity and good brightness.

Veio com defeito que se tornou evidente e progressivamente pior: não acender com o apertar do botão e ligar somente com um chacoalhar. E o preço na Amazon está elevado. Contudo, o vendedor efetuou reembolso integral após uma explicação detalhada!

Bright and long lasting. The 'focusing' beam is handy, but not entirely relevant to why I bought this. I bought this for an astronomy meet, where red lights are required, and it was almost TOO bright for that purpose. Ran it for several hours a night for 3 nights, on a single AA cell, with no perceptible decrease in brightness and a month later it is still very bright. (I use it for 5-10m minutes per night for bathroom visits so as not to wake the missus) Its best feature is what it doesn't do - it doesn't require cycling through white light modes to get to red (which kind of defeats the purpose of having a red light at an astronomy meet). Unlike inexpensive AAA cell flashlights, this is very rugged and never failed to light. The positive click pushbutton is recessed to prevent accidental lighting. A bonus, presumably for signaling, is the 'momentary off' position halfway between on and off. Once on, one can push the button partway to momentarily darken the beam - releasing it will light it again; pushing it until it clicks turns it off. Interesting to note that this action doesn't occur when turning the light ON as one might expect for signaling; presumably this is to prevent accidental discharge from unintentional partial clicks of the button. I'd buy another without hesitation - I'll likely lose this one before it breaks.

La intencidad de la lampara es realmente alta color rojo tal como se describe en la publicacion

Very Useful. But small torch with red light,
