Comfy, yet super supportive
I had my c-section back in June and due to some other health issues I was experiencing I needed to find something to aid in walking around less than a week after my c-section. These were life saver. They helped with the pain, and helped me feel so much better. They were just tight enough to provide support, yes still comfortable and stretchy to not cause me any issues. I would highly recommend for c-section recovery.

Might have died without this.
I recently had my first baby via planned c-section due to a host of medical issues. Thankfully, knowing beforehand - I had time to do some research as to what I might need post surgery. Although this c panty has somewhat mixed reviews, I am SO glad that I decided to buy it anyway and bring it to the hospital with me. When I was first allowed out of the hospital bed to use the bathroom and walk around - I honestly doubled over in pain feeling like my organs were literally going to fall out of my body. The pain was crippling. I was supposed to have received an abdominal binder ordered by my doctor but the hospital staff was kind of lame and nobody ever gave it to me. I did not even know until the last day that I was supposed to get one. Thank the holy Lord that I packed this in my bag with me and remembered it on the third day. I had my fiance help me into this as moving and changing was still quite challenging but almost as soon as I was able to get it on - it was like magic. It didn't take the pain away 100 percent but it did feel like it was holding things in place. I went into the bathroom to change walking like a hunchback and I was able to walk out of the bathroom almost straight. It was such a godsend that I bought two more. A spare in the same pre-pregnancy size and then one size down for when my belly starts to shrink post pregnancy. I would say the size is pretty accurate. The only minor complaint I have is that both sizes so far have fit a little tight around the upper thigh area. But it's not really a huge deal for me. It's been just about two weeks now and I only take these off to shower and wash them. Occasionally I use the abdominal binder with this for additional support but the c panty is fine by itself. I think it might be helping with getting my stomach back in shape also, but time will tell with that one. I would highly recommend this for c-section moms. Before the c panty - the pain was so bad I could never imagine going through this experience again. And if I want more kids I have no choice (due to pre-existing medical issues) but to have another c-section. Honestly, the c panty has been so helpful that I might be willing to do this again as long as these things are still around!

Great purchase
I purchased one of these c-panties after my c-section and then went ahead and purchased two more after being very satisfied with this product. I am only 3 weeks post-birth as I write this but I do notice a reduction in swelling and a comfort in having my mid-section feel tightened while running around caring for my newborn. There is only one minor criticism and it was something I read in another review, too. There could be a wider hole for the leg. I was a size 12 after giving birth and the leg part feels slightly snug (especially when having to wear a pad post birth). If you are bigger than a size 12, I can't imagine the leg hole will feel comfortable for you. Other than than, I bought 3 of these so I obviously like this product.

Far less pain when I wear these. Flattens the scars. Feels great!
This is my second pregnancy using these and I love them so much I wore them long after I didn't need them anymore. The compression belts/binders caused me pain and no support was also painful, however these panties gave me the perfect amount of support. I love that they come all the way up to my bra because my pregnancies rode very high so I needed support up high as well. The silicone panel fit exactly over my scar, even my second scar which is uneven. I have not had any problems with the panel coming unravelled even though I had staples. I think the key is washing them as directed: by hand, cold water, do not wring or twist, roll in a towel then lay out to dry. That being said I have noticed that with time they do stretch a bit. However I do wear them constantly so that seems to be expected. What is annoying for me is that the leg holes stretch and then they start to ride up. The black stretches out significantly more than the beige so instead of purchasing another two pack in black and beige I am purchasing single packs in beige. In general I feel far less pain when I wear these. They are not so tight that I am pulling or tugging which is important post surgery. I started wearing these 1 week post and in two weeks I needed to buy a smaller size. My scar from my first pregnancy became very flat and smooth wearing these .Hopefully I will also get similar results with this the second time around. I am so pleased with this product.

May work for some body types - but not mine
I just had a c section three weeks ago. I did a ton of research and it was between the c panty and the bellefit corset. Ultimately I chose the c panty bc it was cheaper. I first ordered the 1x size bc based on other people's reviews sized myself based on measurements and not dress size. Pre-pregnancy I was a size 14 - 202 lbs and now postpartum 3 weeks I weigh 205 lbs. When I received it and tried it on it was definitely too big - I felt like it was no different than a good pair of my Soma undies. So I thought I got the wrong size and then ordered a L/XL. When I received it and tried it on it fit better but I still didn't feel like it had "medical grade compression." I felt like it better no better or worse than a good pair of spanx. So I returned both sizes and then purchased the bellefit dual closure corset from the bellefit website. I'm sure the c panty works for some people, maybe it depends on body shape and how much of a "shelf" you need to hold in on your lower abdomen. For me it didn't work, but it looked it was made of good quality and durability. I don't know that it could be considered "medical grade compression" bc it seemed the same strength as a pair of spanx. But ultimately if you're on the fence I would still suggest you order this first bc it's cheaper than the bellefit and Amazon prime gets free returns so you don't have anything to lose. The height of the panty (how far up it went on me) was just right. I am 5'1" hourglass - I don't have an especially long torso, I would say I'm probably average for my height and the panty went right up to my bra line so I was able to just barely tuck it under my bra line which was perfect for me. It was very comfortable around my legs. I would say in the smaller size there was a little bulging at the thighs but not too bad.

C-mamas rejoice! These undies rock!
I bought these to wear after my second c-section. With a newborn and a toddler at home to take care of I was willing to try any product that might make my recovery a little faster. I am SO glad that I got them! This panty was one of the best things I had after my c-section. It fits comfortably and provides a good level of compression throughout the abdominal area. I was afraid that it was going to hurt to wear these immediately after surgery but I started wearing mine as soon as I was released from the hospital (4 days PP) with no discomfort from the panty at all. I was also concerned about the small silicone panel that is designed to cover the incision but it turned out that I didn't need to worry at all as that area is just as comfortable as the rest. These have been especially nice to have at night when finding a comfortable sleeping position can be tricky. I used these in a rotation with a postpartum support band and I feel like they were very helpful in achieving a smooth and speedy recovery. I am currently 4 weeks postpartum and now in the awkward "my maternity pants are way too big but my pre-pregnancy pants are pretty tight" stage, so I still wear these to help smooth everything out underneath my clothes for a better look and fit. The high waist stays put and doesn't roll down or slip. Keep in mind that these are hand wash/line dry only, but they are very easy to wash and the material dries quickly. I followed the sizing guide provided by Upspring and went with the L/XL (I'm 5'4" and a pre-preg size 12 AND managed to gain a good 40 lbs during pregnancy. I miss you already, carbs!) and have been happy with the fit. I definitely would recommend these to any c-section mamas looking for postpartum support and comfort. Best wishes to all the new mamas, I hope you find these as comfy and helpful as I have!

Leg Hole Seams Way Too Tight / Uncomfortable
I wish I liked these more; I have a friend that loved them. However, while the rest of the underwear was great - supportive, thick fabric, fit well, liked the silicone panel over my incision - the seams around the leg holes had no give and cut into me. I tried wearing over a few days to see if I would get it used to it or if they would stretch, but, alas, no good. The hems are tight and the seam edging is rough, the last thing you want when you just want to feel comfortable and healing. I ditched them for some soft cotton panties and felt immediately better. I read the reviews and ordered a larger size than I might normally have, Large / X-Large. I'm 5'7" and about 150 lbs one week post partum. The stomach, hips, and rear all fit, but those darn leg holes were like tourniquets. Wish I hadn't ordered three pairs :/.

Too Small and Not as Advertised
For some reason, I read that this was a 2 pack, but did not screen shot it so can not prove it. I would not have paid $40 for one pair of underwear. I had a c-section 5 days ago and was excited to try these on when my husband brought them to me. I have been wearing a medium or large maternity clothing up to delivery day. I ordered the L/XL. The first thing I noticed was that I could barely get the waistband around my thighs. I powered through as I thought that would mean awesome compression on my stomach area. After doing some sort of inchworm manuever and getting them on, I then failed at multiple attempts to keep the top from rolling down my back. After rationalizing that a back muffin-top would not be that much different than what I already look like, I moved on to the other aspects of the panties. It had some sort of compression on my upper ribs, but about the same as an old shapewear pair I bought from Target for less than half the price. Along my incision, it didn't have much more compression than my regular panties, but since these are high waist, they don't dig into the incision either. I don't have a very big butt (thanks, mom) and the fabric on my butt seemed a little loose, while still overly squeezing my thighs, creating a mushroom effect there as well. I had a reaction to the iodine cleanser, so my thighs are rather sensitive and having them sqeezed to death was more than a little unpleasant. I walked around in them a bit, to see if maybe I just needed to "loosen them up" or something. Lack of sleep will make you have strange rationalization skills. Eventually, I gave up and took them off and have requested a refund.

Great especially for sensitive skin
This is amazing! It's so comfortable that I wear it to sleep sometimes. I have sensitive skin and other panties and belly bands irritated my skin a lot whereas this one doesn't. I also like that it's seamless, so it doesn't create friction on my bikini lines and cause chafing. That said, I don't know about the claims about shrinking the C-section bulge. While my waist has gotten more slim 2 months postpartum, it may also (or instead) be due to my uterus shrinking, teduced water retention, loss of weight, etc. Overall, still a great buy.

True to size
It fits well and seems to help with my skin sensitivity I was having after my c section.

Fake item
Definitely fake item. No branding and with strong chemical smell. No silicone pouch inbuilt and very strong and uncomfortable elastic top. Don’t buy
