I recently bought the Toshiba M550NP 55-inch QLED Smart TV, and I absolutely love it! This is hands down the best TV I’ve ever owned. The sound quality is also quite impressive for a flat-screen TV. I didn’t even feel the need for an external speaker right away. The smart features work smoothly, and apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video run without any lag. The setup was quick and easy, and the overall design of the TV looks premium. Whether I’m watching sports, movies, or gaming, the experience has been fantastic. Just Amazing and go for this reliable brand. I bought this model in May 2025 and just enjoying crystal clear Dolby sound in loud 49 watts speaker and awesome 4k resolution. This TV eliminates need for installing home theatre system. Only one drawback i experienced is after putting off tv on stand by mode, tv keeps rebooting multiple times on next start up. This is little annoying and i feel due to heating or cache issue this glitch is happening. Toshiba should pay attention.

Viewing Angle ★★★☆☆ The viewing angle is decent—if you’re sitting right in front of the TV, the colors look fantastic. But from wider angles, there's some visible color and brightness shift. It's acceptable, but not the best for wide living room setups. Sound Quality ★★★★☆ The built-in speakers are surprisingly good for a TV in this segment. Even without a subwoofer, the sound is rich and clear. It easily outperforms regular TV speakers and is more than enough for casual viewing. Audio Output Issues ★★☆☆☆ Here’s where I faced some trouble. The S/PDIF optical port does not provide 5.1 surround sound to my amplifier. My amplifier supports ARC (Audio Return Channel), and this TV supports eARC, which should be compatible—but unfortunately, it’s not working in my case. I’ve reached out to the amplifier company, and it could very well be an issue on that end. Still, it’s disappointing that I couldn’t get proper surround sound from the start. Also, I noticed that digital audio output volume is slightly lower compared to my previous TV. Software & Features ★★★★☆ Toshiba has done a commendable job with the user experience and software interface. The UI is responsive (after the initial 2 days of use), and app loading times have improved. There are plenty of useful picture settings, and the ZR picture engine handles upscaling and motion smoothing well. Picture mode switching is seamless, and there’s noticeable enhancement based on content type. I also appreciate that the I/O ports are well-placed and easy to access—a thoughtful design choice. Final Thoughts If the audio output issue gets resolved from my end, I’d say this TV offers an excellent home theater experience. For anyone looking for stellar picture quality, good sound, and broad HDR format support in a mid-range budget, the Toshiba 55M550NP is a solid contender. After using and testing the TV for 15 days im writing this review over all good TV sound and picture quality good 5/5. All smart 4K Tv with Good TV OS features in a budget friendly pocket. With 2.1 subwoofers output gives great sound quality. If u wana mount the TV on wall u need to remember to buy a special wall bracket as traditional bracket would cover the woofers.

Worth the price! The picture quality is excellent, sound is clear, and overall performance is very smooth for this price range. It offers great value for money and meets all expectations for everyday viewing. Definitely worth buying if you’re looking for a good TV at a reasonable price. Installation was hassle free. The delivery person and technician (Deena Nath) were really helpful and professional. My parents live on the 3rd floor, and they carried the TV safely all the way up without any issues. The installation was done smoothly, and everything was handled in the best possible way. Very satisfied with the service.

The installation was very smooth. Ppl charged extra for the tv wall bracket. The colour quality is average. Performance is good. No lag in loading and switching between content. Value for money product. Display is as expected for this price range. Picture quality not comparable with LG,Sony and Panasonic.
