Cold AC for a small room
Great unit, and mirroring what most of the other reviews said, this unit works great and cools down a 200 sq/ft room very fast and keeps it comfortable. Not so much that great in a 500-ish sq/ft area with vaulted ceilings, but you can definitely feel the difference after 20 minutes of it running. There really aren't any negatives to say about this, but I will say a few things that I've noticed and wish it could be different on the AC unit. It's nothing that would prevent me from returning it, as it does what I need it to do. The fan on the high setting is a bit loud, especially when the unit is close to you but that's expected. Also, there's a fair amount of heat generated from the rear by the hose area - no hot air blowing, but if you put your hands back there you can definitely feel the heat radiating from the unit and the exhaust hose. I would recommend placing this closer to a wall or in the corner of a room. The other thing is I wish this unit had adjustable power, or at least was more energy efficient and drew a lower wattage to save on electricity (and your electric bill). I use this AC unit on a Ecoflow Delta Pro with a 3.6 kWh battery, and it'll run just shy of 3 hours on the Delta Pro, or 4.5 hours with a 400W solar panel connected at the same time. The AC unit consistently pulls 1000 watts of electricity in cooling mode, and it's the same 1000 watts in either low or high mode, so we just leave it on high to cool the room faster. I've seen some 14,000 BTU window units only draw 500-600 watts or electricity, so it would've been nice is this unit was more energy efficient. I wish it didn't draw as much power since we run this unit on a solar generator, as it's much cheaper for me to charge the generator at night than it is to plug in the AC unit into the house wall outlet during the day. Still, it's perfect on those summer afternoons when it gets hot in the house. The last thing I would mention is the included window kit. It's nice that the AC unit comes with an exhaust host and window kit to vent out the heat, but the window kit is limited in the adjustability. There's only a few windows in my house where this included window kit will actually fit, otherwise it's either too short or too long. I bought the Gulrear Portable Air Conditioner Sliding Door Vent Kit ($29 on Amazon) that has 4 sections and doesn't taper the exhaust vent, so I can either put this on our 80" tall patio door or on a much shorter window in my son's room. I wouldn't say the included window kit is worthless, as it still works and does its job. The hose will easily pop off the panel if you're moving the unit around and the hose moves a little bit, but it'll stay in place when you need it to. Overall, this is a great unit for the price.

Just About Perfect
I've had this portable A/C model for two summers now, and I can confirm that it's still performing very well without any issues. I live in a top floor apartment with a south-facing living room so needless to say, it gets pretty toasty in the summer especially the month of July when the heat and humidity is at its worst here in New England. The room is pretty big - about 19' x 16.5' with a high ceiling, and the wall unit in my living room wasn't making a difference despite being brand new and installed when the apartment was renovated. It's small and positioned way too high in the wall to make a difference. All it does is blow cool air along the ceiling and I wasn't getting any relief from it. The SereneLife sits on the floor, so the minute I turn it on I get refreshing cool air blowing where I need it. There are three fan settings so you can put it up higher to cool the place down quickly then adjust the fan to low to maintain it. It's amazing how much water the unit sucks out of the air especially when humidity is high - so be warned that even with the five-gallon bucket I use to drain the water that I'm emptying it often twice a day on really humid days. I love the "swing" mechanism that directs the air up and down. It's a heavy air conditioner - you will probably need someone to help you carry it up stairs - but once you have it installed, the wheels make it easy to move it across a floor and turn it where you want the air to flow. I love that it had a timer function - I have used it to have it automatically come on in afternoon when I am at work to keep my cat cool. The filters are also easy to remove and clean. The window kit was fairly easy to set up but the extra pieces they gave ended up being too long for my window and since I don't have a hand saw to cut one to the right size, I ended up inserting a piece of styrofoam and using duct tape to keep things secure and prevent air gaps. The only real downside of this product is the noise level, but it is an air conditioner, after all. As it's in my living room, sometimes I have to put the volume way up on the TV. I do have a smaller SereneLife unit in my bedroom that worked fine for 14 months before it started giving me an E4 error code and shutting off every half hour - my research tells me this is mostly likely a problem with the internal sensor that is saying the coils are getting too cold when they may be fine...fingers crossed this does not happen with this size SereneLife...hoping I get my money's worth and this will last for many more summers.

Great A/C unit with excellent cooling power
Having the dual hose design makes a huge difference with these type of portable a/c units. This unit is very effective at cooling down my living room even in mid 90's temps unlike a single hose unit I previously purchased which claimed to have the same btu's. It's easy enough to set up, the only thing I wish it had was a room temp reading in the app so I could track how hot the room gets when the unit is off and how quickly it cools down with it running.

Don't waste your money!!
We bought this last summer for our bedroom, and it worked OK for the season. It was very loud, but did cool off the room. This month, we hooked it back up and wanted to use it on a hot night, but it was DEAD. We just couldn't get it to do anything. My partner D called customer service who seemed to have no ideas what to do. They said to shut it off again for 24 hours and re-try. We did that, but it did not work. So, then we wrote to customer service and did not hear back. We called them again and they said it was being processed. We then got a series of emails back requesting our receipt - though we provided a screen shot of our receipt, they wanted it in a different format (same information, just listed on a different page). Then time goes by, and we finally got a totally unacceptable response. All of this time, BTW, we were hot and did not have air conditioning! They said it was still under warranty, so we could send it back AT OUR OWN COST. They would then either fix it or send us a new one but the process would take about 6 weeks. We are seniors and the prospect of figuring out how to package up this large unit, get it to a shipping place, and then spend lots of money to send it back was totally unacceptable. AND, we would not have any air conditioning for a good part of the summer!!! We wrote back that this was unacceptable, and we expected either a refund or a new unit right away. They were told we would report them to the BBB and write terrible reviews, and the answer was the same. SO, here is the terrible review!!! DO NOT BUY THIS A/C NOR ANYTHING BY THIS BRAND!! The unit doesn't work and the customer service is terrible. We are now stuck figuring out our next move . . .

Runs quiet and is powerful
This is a very powerful yet surprisingly quiet running A/C unit that’s been ideal for our primary bedroom. It comes with a window kit so very easy to install and as doesn’t need to be a permanent fixture we love that we can move to other rooms as and when needed - especially the main living room during the day. Multiple control options for temperature and air flow speed which can both be operated on the unit itself or via the included remote control. Great quality and don’t find our electric bill was hugely increased by using it so feel it’s energy efficient as well.

Powerful, Quiet, and Perfect for Year-Round Comfort!
I've been extremely impressed with this SereneLife 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner. It cools my large room quickly and keeps the temperature consistent, even on the hottest days. The 14,000 BTU output is powerful enough for larger spaces, and I love that it also works as a heater, fan, and dehumidifier, making it useful year-round. Setup was straightforward thanks to the included window kit, and the built-in wheels make it easy to move from room to room. One of my favorite features is the Wi-Fi connectivity—I can control everything from the app or use the included remote without getting up. The touch controls are simple to navigate, and the 24-hour timer is great for scheduling. It's also much quieter than I expected for such a powerful portable AC. The dehumidifier does a great job reducing humidity, making the room feel even more comfortable. Overall, this is an excellent all-in-one climate control solution that's easy to use, energy efficient, and performs exactly as advertised. Highly recommend!

Good unit but connecting to the Smart Home app needs immediate attention
I got this to cool my garage here in the Panhandle of Florida. It does cool the garage about 10 degrees lower than the outside temp. I already have a separate dehumidifier running as well so I do not use the dry mode on the AC. The only issue I have is connecting the unit to the SereneLife Smart Home App ... tried multiple times and it fails every time. I've contacted customer service for help and standing by to be contacted.

Good product
I like this air conditioner — compared to my previous one, it’s significantly quieter and much lighter, which makes a big difference. It looks sleek, compact, and has a pleasant design, plus the adjustable window vent kit is very convenient to use. Overall, it’s functional and efficient.
