Original Detangler Hair Brush, Black Frost, For All Hair Textures

I bought the Wet Brush Original Detangler expecting a hairbrush. What I apparently purchased was a tiny plastic therapist that has dramatically improved my relationship with my own hair. Let me explain. My hair and I have a complicated history. There are mornings when I wake up looking like I spent the night fighting a ceiling fan. There are tangles that seem to have formed overnight with a clear agenda. In the past, brushing my hair was less of a grooming routine and more of a negotiation involving pain, patience, and several words that probably should not be repeated in a family-friendly review. Then this little blue miracle showed up. The Wet Brush Original Detangler glides through my hair surprisingly well, making it much easier to work through knots without feeling like I am participating in some sort of medieval punishment. The flexible bristles are gentle enough that brushing does not immediately make me regret every decision that led me to that particular tangle. And yes, I have used it on dry hair too. Because apparently I cannot be trusted to brush my hair only when I am supposed to. What I really appreciate is how versatile it is. The brush is designed for all hair textures, and it does a great job handling everything from ordinary everyday tangles to those mysterious knots that appear after sleeping, showering, existing, or simply looking at a pillow. The first time I used it, I genuinely thought, “Wait, that's it?” No dramatic pulling. No yanking. No standing in front of the mirror questioning whether cutting my hair off and starting over would be easier. Just brushing. The blue color is also fun. It looks cheerful sitting on the bathroom counter, which is important because most of my bathroom accessories seem determined to look like they were selected by an accountant. I especially like using it after a shower when my hair is damp and determined to become one enormous biological mystery. Instead of attacking the knots aggressively, I can work through them gradually and get my hair looking presentable without turning the entire process into an emotional event. Is it the most complicated technological invention of the century? No. It is a hairbrush. But honestly, I think we sometimes underestimate how much joy can come from a simple product that just does its job really well. This brush does exactly what I want a detangling brush to do. It is comfortable, easy to use, gentle on my hair, and surprisingly effective at dealing with tangles. It has earned a permanent spot in my bathroom, my travel bag, and probably my emergency survival kit. If you have hair that tangles easily, this is absolutely worth trying. If your hair never tangles, congratulations. I am happy for you, but I also do not fully trust you. Five stars. My hair is happier, my mornings are easier, and I have significantly reduced the amount of time I spend staring at a knot like it personally betrayed me.

I love this color so much. It's nit a super common color to find and I've continually bought this Wet brush model for years. I have very slick hair that likes to somehow still gets knots and it's very fast to detangle with this brush. I literally haven't bought any other brush since i was 8. Even my sister who has sensory issues especially on her head loves this brush. We have wavy hair, curly hair and mostly straight hair in our family. Oily hair, dry hair... It works for all of our hair types. These brushes are pretty easy to clean as well and they dry off fast when you use them for wet hair. Also doesn't really build up static on dry hair like other brushes. I also feel like it's actually brushing my hair rather than gliding over it. Also feels nice on my head. These also don't break very easily at all. We've broken ONE in all the years we've had these brushes. And that's with knots in thick hair, dropping them like crazy..... The size is very nice to handle and ergonomic.

This is my go-to detangling brush, and I have been very happy with it. It works well for getting through tangles without feeling too harsh on my hair. The brush is comfortable to use and has become part of my regular hair routine. I also really like the Sky color—it adds a fun touch and makes the brush look as good as it works. Overall, this is a reliable brush that does exactly what I need it to do. It is effective, easy to use, and one I would purchase again.

I starting buying the Wet Brush a few years ago on the recommendation of a hair expert. He said, surprisingly, the brush that does the least amount of damage is the most afford. I tried it and never looked back! It's very gentle but effectively gets out tangles. I have thick hip-length hair and this makes brushing it a breeze. It's says you can use it wet but I don't; although my hair is thick, it's naturally straight, so using any brush on it wet can cause breakage (it's different for people with very curly hair who can brush hair wet). On wash days, I put my hair in a turban to soak excess moisture, then airdry a few hours before brushing. On non-wash days I just brush in the morning. The handle feels great and the ease of use makes brushing pleasant. I love the size, it's easy to travel with. Lastly, I really love the powder blue color, it's lovely. One of my favorite colors actually. I will repurchase as long as they keep making it. I'm not sure how often we're supposed to replace these but I replace mine about once a year. Great value!

I really like this Wet Brush! The bristles are soft and flexible, making it much easier to work through tangles without pulling too much on my hair. It glides through my hair nicely, especially when it’s a little tangled after washing. I also love the simple black design and how comfortable it feels to hold. A great brush for everyday use and definitely one I’ll keep using!

I have hair that tangles incredibly easily, especially after I wash it. Brushing it after a shower is usually the worst part of my routine because every brush seems to pull or snag, especially since I get highlights fairly often, my hair has gotten a little weaker and more prone to breaking. This brush has made a HUGE difference. The bristles are flexible enough that they glide through knots instead of getting stuck in them. I still have to be gentle with really tangled sections, but I notice much less pulling and a lot less hair ending up in the brush compared to the ones I used before. It also feels comfortable to hold, even when I'm taking my time working through wet hair. I've used it on both wet and dry hair, and it works well for both, but I especially appreciate it after showering when my hair is at its most difficult. I've been using it regularly, and it has held up well. The bristles haven't bent out of shape, a few have lost the little heads of the bristles, but that happens over time... and it still works just as well as when I first bought it. If you have hair that knots easily and dread brushing it after a shower, I definitely recommend giving this brush a try.

I loved this burnish so much I purchased two more to give to my mom and daughter. It works great at detangling hair fast and works on multiple hair types, thick and thin. I love the colors it comes in as well I purchased the turquoise for myself the pink for my mom and a multicolored one for my daughter.

This is such a pleasant brush! Great for fine and thick hair and in between. Does not hurt when brushing wet or dry hair, detangles gently, does not hurt during detangling like many other brushes do, and is one of the best detangling brushes I own. I recommend it highly, especially for people with sensitivities against rough, painful brushes that hurt when combing through dry or wet hair. Well worth it. Go get it!

An amazing wet brush! Doesn’t break my hair when wet. We also got this because my three year old HATES having her hair brushed because of the pain from the knots, we have previously tried detangling sprays & different types of detangler brushes without effect. We call this the magic brush in our house because it glides through her hair, takes the knots out with minimal pain - WE LOVE THIS BRUSH. Has made a daily screaming match a joyful and effortless task - grateful mumma.
