My favorite breakfast. Or snack. Great value for the price.

This is a pantry staple in our house! We order Corn Chex again and again because it's one of our family's favorites. It's always fresh, perfectly crunchy, and tastes great on its own or with milk. We also love using it to make homemade Chex Mix, and it holds up really well without getting soggy too quickly. The fact that it's gluten-free is an added bonus, and it's a cereal everyone in our family enjoys. If you're looking for a reliable, delicious cereal, this one never disappoints. It's definitely one we'll keep buying!

I have always loved the taste and quality of Corn Chex. It has that good taste of corn without the high sugar content and it is very crunchy as well.

I purchased this family-size box of Corn Chex primarily for making homemade snack mixes for our little farmstand, The Hidden Manna, and I’ve already made two different varieties that turned out absolutely delicious! So far, I’ve made a Dilly Ranch snack mix and a Sweet Heat Texas Trash snack mix, both using Corn Chex along with other cereals, pretzels, crackers, and homemade seasoning blends. I love how versatile this cereal is because it works beautifully with so many different flavors, from savory ranch and dill to sweet, spicy, and buttery seasonings! Taste & Texture: Corn Chex has a delicious, lightly toasted corn flavor that isn’t overly sweet or heavily seasoned. The little woven squares have a wonderful light, crispy crunch, and all those tiny openings are perfect for catching the butter and seasonings in homemade snack mixes! I especially love how the cereal adds crunch without overpowering the other ingredients. Freshness & Quality: The cereal has a nice golden color, and the individual squares have a light, airy texture. As you can see in my photos, the pieces have that familiar Chex shape that makes them so wonderful for coating with homemade seasonings. Quantity & Value: This is the 18-ounce family-size box, which is especially convenient when making larger batches of snack mixes. I go through quite a bit of cereal preparing homemade goodies for our farmstand, so having a larger box is helpful. Being in rural Texas, I also appreciate being able to order ingredients through Amazon rather than making extra trips to larger grocery stores. Ingredients & Versatility: Another nice feature is that Corn Chex is labeled gluten-free, although you do need to check your other ingredients if preparing a gluten-free snack mix. It’s also fortified with several vitamins and minerals. Of course, you don’t have to make snack mixes to enjoy it! Corn Chex is delicious eaten straight from the box as a crunchy snack or served the traditional way in a bowl with cold milk. You can also use it for sweet treats like Muddy Buddies, holiday party mixes, and countless other homemade creations. Packaging: The cardboard box includes a sealed inner cereal bag, and I especially appreciate the recipes printed on the back! The Original Chex Party Mix and Muddy Buddies recipes are wonderful starting points for anyone wanting to experiment with homemade treats. Portability, it’s easy and portable in small baggies for children’s snacks as well! Helpful Tip: If you’re making homemade seasoned snack mixes, gently toss the Corn Chex with your melted butter and seasonings rather than stirring aggressively. This helps keep those delicate little squares intact. I also recommend spreading the finished mix out to cool completely before packaging it in airtight bags or containers. This helps preserve that wonderful crunch! I’ve included photos of the actual cereal and both varieties of snack mix I’ve made for our farmstand. It’s amazing how one simple cereal can be transformed into so many different delicious treats! Definitely a pantry staple for me, especially during the fall and holiday baking season. I bought these for the party mix. They were fresh. They’re also good for a breakfast cereal and I made the homemade treats party mix wonderful. Put them all three together along with your pretzels and your M&Ms. Wonderful.
