they aren't the top of the line, for the price, that can't be expected to be. They work great, flawlessly I think. you do have to be careful when you're soldering them, if you heat them too much they the terminals can slide. There's no plastic over the top of the terminal on the female connector, so you can slot it in a 64th inch and then you have to wiggle in to get it to where it's supposed to be. The corners can be a little sharp, but that's what a knife is for, just knock the corners down, if you're good with a flame, use a little butane torch to melt the corners round and it'll go even quicker. Long story short, if you're going to cycle this every time you use something, it may be good to get a better set, but if these will be replacing spade or bullet connectors, they are so, so much better that those. I'm using these for accessories on my electric bike build, so they'll be hidden and they'll only need to be disconnected when I need to do work, and for that, these are perfect.

Good well made connectors. Exactly as advertised. Let me fix up a cable to charge the kids RC car batteries with the better bigger charger so they could run them more often.

What amazon says it is and I have used 2 sets changed a couple lipo battery over to deans and it was without any complications,quality dean connecters with good solid connections male to female....

I had a wonderful experience with these connectors. I tinned all of my wires and leads before soldering and had no issues. I suspect that most negative reviews were because of poor soldering skills or the company has dramatically improved their product. If you're not experienced at soldering just buy the ones with leads. I used these to adapt my Redcat Racing car from banana plugs to Deans. I converted my extra batteries, charger, esc and even made an adapter for the charger that came with it. I do suspect that if you held heat on them for too long the prongs will shift so again, if you question your soldering skills, just get the set with leads. I for one am very happy with my purchase and haven't experienced any of the complaints of other reviews.
