Headphone Extension Cable MMCX Audio Cord 3.5mm Plug comptatible with Shure SE215 SE315 SE846 Black

I was looking for a good quality lighter replacement for my Mackie IEMs. I tried a Westone cable and that didn’t work. And was expensive. This cable is so light l, quality is great and it is 1/4 the price of the replacement Mackie cable.

This cable works as advertised. If you are specifically getting MMCX cables for IEMs, this will probably be fine for you. I got these to attach to more standard headphones and found the curl built into the cable pretty annoying. I thought I was going to be able to straighten it out either with heat or flexing it or use, but nothing I've tried has any effect. Again, I understand that's likely a feature for most of the people who buy this, but if you happen to be looking for a cable to attach to non IEM headphones (I happened to be doing the Koss PortaPro MMCX mod), then you're probably going to want to look for another cable.

Good quality and easy to install

I got these for the Antlion Kimura and they work great with those. The ear hooks hold their shape fairly well and are unobtrusive. The cable is good but might get a bit tangled occasionally and the lack of a clip is annoying.

EDIT: original review is below, but the longevity problems I described are not the cable's fault. I believe the IEMs themselves are to blame, whereas the cable itself seems to remain functional. In the meantime, I have increased this review's rating to 3 stars, but would recommend alternatives if you can spare a few more dollars. (Most people seem to swear by Tripowin cables, though feel and thickness can vary.) If you can't, Shure's cables seem worth an $8 gamble. Original Review: I noticed the build quality of these were not as good as my pack-in cable or other replacement options right off the bat. They also lack a chin adjuster to keep the ends from getting caught on things. Fair enough -- they're cheaper than the competition, which is why I chose them over others. Yet after less than half a year, they already stared to give out, with the cable requiring some occasional twisting near the mmcx plugs to get sound working again. I know this a common failure point when used with some models, but even my last cable lasted longer than this.
