I recently moved from New England to Florida. I smoke about a pack of cigarettes a day. I used to gas up my zippo and it would last 3 or 4 days. But down in Florida, my zippo would run out in a day or so. I got this last week, and now it lasts about 3 days or so. So I think it helps. Installing it is not hard, just take your time and follow instructions. I would recommend.

Not sure why Zippo hasn;t started incorporating this feature into their lighters straight from the factory! Great insert! The fit, finish and quality are awesome. Very simple, easy installation in seconds. No issues at all. Pack included spare gaskets, as well. Shipping was super quick as well. I’m hoping this will help my lighter fluid last a bit longer. It already makes filling the lighter easier and less messy with the small trap door on the bottom. Awesome little addition to make a fantastic lighter even better!!

Personally I’ve always preferred to go through the whole zippo and fill each layer of cotton. Not soak it, but fill it. This product looked so nice I wanted to try it out. Honestly I don’t see myself ever filling it the old way again because this is pretty slick. I’m sure it’s just as efficient. It’s just cotton and wick in there anyway. Get one while they’re five bucks.

Doesn’t fit, doesn’t seal. The whole purpose of this is to seal the bottom of the lighter. How will it do this when the rubber gasket has a 1/16” gap on each side and the whole corner rides up? Don’t waste your money. It looks like a nice piece, but what you goer is ill fitting, poorly manufactured, and barely worth 1/10 of the price.

Whether I use these or not, I still get about two weeks out of a fill. But, what the heck, they look good and seem to be high quality and craftsmanship so I kept them

It fits perfect in my Zippo lighter and in the Zippo lighter case. The biggest selling point and reason to get it is for the amount it reduces the lighter fluid evaporation. I have seen a significant reduction in the amount of lighter fluid that evaporates on the lighter that has this installed! To make sure it wasn't just me, I put the same amount of fluid in two lighters (one with this and just a stock one) and the one that had this installed still had fluid when the stock lighter had all of it evaporated! Another really nice feature of this product is the space it gives for a spare flint. I put a spare flint in there and forgot about it and I am glad I did. It came in handy when I was away from home and I needed to replace my flint. I highly recommend this product.

This product is a life saver. I had to fill my zippo after couple of days. It wouldn’t last longer. Just keep getting evaporated. After i bought this one. I think it’s been a month. And i didn’t need to add more fuel into it
