Log Grabber Fireplace Tongs Wood Fired Oven Tool Grill Camping Fire Pit Tool

Just what I needed to place - accurately logs on our pizza oven - a mix (temp - humidity - wind speed and direction - atmospheric pressure dependant) of generally 20% poplar, 70% oak and 10% nut all 3 years out door air dried and then 2 years store dried. placement important to maximise heat distribution and calorific retention. These are ideal, nicely stiff and perfect for on average 5" cube logs (+/- 20%) much larger and they might be a little under engineered.

A good product. Well made and easy to use. I used it also for picking up jagged thistles safely from the garden. Delivered promptly. Look good with my open fire. Very pleased with this purchase.

These are good and well made but they are very long and quite difficult to use one handed as they are quite stiff, good for putting logs or coal into a roaring fire as you don't have to get close

It's well built and sturdy, but in order to open the jaws wide enough to pick up a reasonable sized log for the fire, you need giant hands, or to use two hands. This means you can't open the stove door at the same time. It's good that the grabber is long. No danger of getting too close to the fire, but the mechanics of it, just don't allow easy release of the log and you end up dropping it in a useless position then just poking it about

Well made and really useful tool for the fire. You can easily turn the logs and position them to ensure that they all burn

Nicely made with a good gripping end and long enough to pick and place a log into the Chimera.

This product is a bit unwieldy for lifting large logs but it is well made and ideal for an outdoor camp fire or fire pit. Satisfied with prompt delivery and would recommend.
