Portal Extra Large Quick Folding Tripod Stool with Backrest Fishing Camping Chair with Carry Strap

This chair is exactly what I was looking for. Something super light, takes up barely any space so that I can bring it along with me in almost any situation. I’m 5’2” and 150 lbs and find this chair very comfortable and sturdy. It folds up and opens very easily and has two velcro straps to make sure it’s securely closed. Also has a shoulder strap for easy travel. The little side pouch to hold a beverage is a very nice touch. Obviously not a chair you should get if you’re looking for something to sit back and relax in for hours at a time. But for something that travels easy, is very light and super easy to set up, this is perfect. Well worth the cost.

I have been searching for a portable chair/stool that is lightweight, folds up relatively small, and is comfortable to sit on for shorter periods of time…this quick folding tripod stool by Portal checks all those boxes! The stool opens up and also closes easily without any hassles and secures with the built in velcro straps. It is easy to transport this stool with the built-in carry strap, I simply sling it over my shoulder and I’m ready to go. Since it’s lightweight, carrying it on my shoulder is very.easy. This stool also has a small pouch and bottle holder which would work well for skinnier bottles by not my 32oz bottle which is wide at the bottom but that’s ok. I’m happy that the pouch is there to hold my cell phone or other small items like keys and such. I am 5ft 11in tall and weigh about 195lbs and this stool supports me very well, I’m not worried about it breaking even though it’s only rated to 225lbs. One thing I really like is that the seat height is 18” so it is much more comfortable to sit in than some small bag chairs that sit lower to the ground. So far I’m really happy with this stool, I use it at events where I need to get off my feet for maybe 30 minutes to an hour at a time and it works well for my needs. If I’m going to be sitting for longer periods of time then I’ll bring one of my big bag chairs but when I want a more compact and lightweight seat, this is the one I’ll use!

I carry it in my trunk, as I often have to change into work clothes on the fly. It's a much more compact alternative to most folding chairs, and has thus far outlasted larger chairs I've purchased in the past. Minor downside is the front of the chair, due to the support leg, is slightly elevated when I sit down. This results in it being a bit uncomfortable when I am dealing with putting on or tying my shoes.

I love this chair! Super light and easy to bring around to sporting events and practices. Definitely beats sitting on the floor. Folds and unfolds with ease and store very nicely in my car. It’s strong, great material. Love that it even has a cup holder and a strap to carry it around. Great price and I’m very happy I purchased it!

This was the best portable chair I could find for an elderly person with mobility issues, who walks with a cane, and needs to sit down at times while out and about -- sometimes with little warning. This chair allows him to participate in outdoor family activities like walks, if no benches are available. The chair has a normal seat height, and a good back for support. It sets up in seconds, there's nothing to assemble. It's nicely padded. These are all important features that were lacking in other chairs we looked at. The chair is a comfortable size for this person, who weighs about 150 lbs, and is able to get in and out of it easily. It has a strap for carrying. I only wish the chair were lighter for carrying. It weighs in at 4.5 lbs. For our purposes, the cup holder isn't needed. Maybe a detachable version would help reduce bulk.

It’s bigger than I expected it to be. For the size, you might as well bring a regular folding chair. It’s not saving any space. It seems pretty well made but it is not comfortable at all. I don’t have a giant rear or anything but it felt like the fabric was digging into the bottom of my legs when I sat down. I’m going to be returning it.

My wife loves it. I can't sit in it as there are certain parts on me that don't work well with this style of chair. Not a man's chair lol
