I love the numerators variety of birds that we feed daily but the goldfinch love my Swiss chard which I grow in my container garden. I’ve shared y crop for two years but this year they were really doing a number on my ability to grow as much as I needed. These pinwheels were not installed until the season was more than half over and they make a great difference. I did have to attach them to taller bamboo stakes to suit the exact height I needed. Assemblage is required but once I figured it out, there was no problem. I will purchase again if necessary and I highly recommend them if your trying to discourage birds.

Put a few of these amongst newly planted seedlings & they seem to be working at keeping the birds away from them.

I had purchased these pinwheels some time ago to ward off ducks in my swimming pool. (1) The assembly instructions are pathetic, but my mechanical genius served me well. Much to my total DISMAY and total disappointment, I placed these pinwheels in the ground today during quite breezy weather totally sufficient to make them twirl. ONLY ONE of the ten pinwheels turned and with some effort I might add - what a TOTAL waste of my valuable time to assemble all of these pinwheels! Save yourself the aggravation and purchase these from ANOTHER vender who hopefully has a much better and FUNCTIONAL product.

Doesn't work...waste of money.
