3M Clear Paint Surface Protection Vinyl Wrap 1 Inch Wide Tape Roll (1 Inch x 84 Inch)

saw others received something different, but for me the item came as described, 1 inch wide and clear (the backing is white), i bought this specifically to wrap my oura ring to protect from scratches. i just got the ring so no prior scratching, and i'm very pleasantly surprised how well the tape adhered to the smooth surface, leaving no bubbles. the thickness of the tape is great for my use, enough to absorb any scratching but not add bulk. i cut it into small strips with a very sharp exacto knife and it worked great. easy to reposition during placement and i imagine it will be easy to remove when i want to swap for a fresh wrap. you can hardly tell it's there, even when looking up close. super pleased with this product! will see how it holds up with daily wear...

Roll looked terrible when it arrived. Appeared to have been hand cut. Instead I believe that the rough looking edges are probably because the tape has been cut and rewound. As you can see, there's 3M logo on the backing tape that wasn't apparent until it was unwound. No 3M logo visible on the inside of the spool either. Worked great. Film has clean parallel edges. Installed easily.

Good tape that worked well as as an edge guard for my pickleball paddle. Seems to be good quality and was fairly easy to use and install. The clear color makes it unnoticeable. I knocked it down a star because it is very expensive for the amount of tape you get.

This stuff is fantastic. Relatively easy to apply. Tough as nails.

Excellent just received and used first piece on our travel trailer

I've purchased two rolls of this now. The first roll was 71 inches long, it did what I needed it to do. The quality of this is actually really good even though it's on the thin side. I think it actually is a 3M product, even though somebody is cutting these from what appears to be a 2 inch width into a 1 inch width. I'm putting these on a bike frame where the seat contacts, to protect the paint. I doubled up and did two layers, and it sticks very well and I'm very happy with the performance, but I'm not happy with the seller at all. I was hoping to do the same on my son's bike so I purchased a second roll. This roll came up way short. I don't have enough to do what I needed to do. This second roll measures out at 43-3/4" long. That's 40-1/4" of tape that I paid for and did not get. These aren't cheap at $13+ dollars and the seller is clearly ripping people off.

I bought this to seal up and reinforce a leaky sunroof drain, and the tape itself performed just okay. After the first rain storm the car was dry, but after a 24hr heavy rain storm water got under the tape and flooded the sunroof drains. The tape isn’t water tight. The roll was also a few inches shorter than the stated length in the description. Not a massive deficit, but when you’re measuring out specific runs for a fix, every inch counts.

This item seems to be working great so far.

Been using it as the edgeguard for my 16mm paddles after being suggested by Eddie from Johnkew’s podcast. Smart suggestion I must say. Saves the paddle edge from scuffs, looks dope, and doesn’t leave any residue. In fact I put my weights on top of this tape; the weight sticks well plus saves the paddle from the residues from the weights.

Clear tape worked very well to protect painted surfaces.
