The pouch is so much more fresh then the tin . When feeding cats from tin of same flavour the cats eat a little then leaves and come back later to clean plate .when serving from the pouch as soon as plate put in front of each cat they start eating right away and. They clean of their plate right away .

First you need to know about my cat. She is old with mouth ulcers that make it almost impossible for her to eat solid food. I have to blend it up so she doesn’t have to really chew. Since this has happened to her, I have gone through so many types of wet cat food. With a few after blending it up into a thick liquid she would eat some. You could tell though she ate it because she was at that point very hungry. Out of desperation I decided to try Hill’s Science diet adult wet cat food pouch. To my delight she is eating regularly again. She is even putting back on a little weight. The bad news is she is getting rambunctious again so I now have more picking up of her toys again. This stuff has a very strong smell that is pleasant enough that I don’t have to plug my nose or anything like that. It kind of reminds me of canned stew sort of. It has nice sized chunks in the pouch and lots of them. There is a nice amount of gravy with it so your cat will get a very nice blend of liquid along with the solid food. It has been a month now with her on this stuff. She is still jumping up onto her house begging for more. I think that in itself says it all. She is getting more energy. She is definitely happier. She is putting back on some of the weight she has lost because of her condition. Yes, she is once again the pain in the . . . that I have grown to love.

This is the only wet food that my cats will eat! I have tried different brands different types of food like pate, but nothing is comparable to this wet food. My cats are so excited for dinner time they will come running when they see me heading towards these pouches. I do think that the pouches are safer and cleaner than canned food so it does not bother me that this is their favorite. I highly recommend for those the lions who love to eat wet and soupy food. Also sidenote different from pate this food is very easy to clean off bowls.
