Is it ok to run a multiple gang extension lead from this?

This unit allows you to replace a single socket with a double socket; so you could run a multiple gang extension provided that the overall current draw does not exceed the capacity of the wiring, circuit breaker and electrical components installed.

Does this come with the face plate? I want to use it as a replacement for a single to double socket thats already there but one switch is fried

If you have a plasterboard wall its really easy to convert using a metal twin box or plasterboard recessed boxs by cutting the wall hole to size This is meant for brick wall where filling or plastering will be required to repair so keeping costs down to convert single to twin.
