Major upgrade for an old tool
I have an old incandescent Maglite from the early 1990s. The original bulb quit last week and a quick search on Amazon led me to this replacement bulb. Installation was under a minute and it breathed new life into this faithful tool. The quality of light output is exceptional and the beam focuses more tightly than my actual LED Maglite. Color temperature of the LED seems warmer (yellow) than most LED flashlights, but that’s a minor complaint. Would recommend anyone that owns a Maglite to install such a bulb.

Give your maglite new life for a reasonable price!
Plug and play for an old Maglite. Good brightness and with 4 D cell batteries you will get a lot of light! If you like the old Maglites and want to make it useful again, this is hard to beat for the price.

Great quality!
Very surprised at the substantial increase in brightness. Far better than expected. Had retired a long time favorite since so many others I own have far greater lumens/brightness, but nothing compares to the build quality of these OG lights. So, it's now a useful tool again!!

Bright but has yellow tint
The bulb is bright and will suffice. I wish it had a pure white light but it doesn't. The Maglite LED bull is bright and WHITE. I was hoping for that for the associated cost.

Easy and actually worke great. Reccom,emd gettimg the tempered glass lems along with this.

Easy replacement.
I have a fondness for my 4D Maglight. It reminds me of an old girlfriend whose nickname was Mag ( she was also a 4D as I recall). Anyway, when the bulb went out (the flashlights, not Mag's), I decided to upgrade to an LED. Installation was as easy as screwing in a light bulb. The LED is considerably brighter than the old incandescent bulb. Very happy with the upgrade. Now, I think I'll look up Mag and see how she's doing.

Great upgrade
Changed original bulb in a 30 year old 4D Maglite. Easy to change. New bulb is much brighter. See pictures attached. First is original bulb. Second is the new LED bulb.

10 out of 10 best bulb for under $100.
Quick swap im happy with the brightness. A little warmer tone than some white leds but I actually think it looks better and the brightness is great while retaining the focus ability. It was a little tight to go in but a little twisting and it drops right in.
