These sturdy apples crates have many uses. They are perfect for storage around the house - they can be stacked for use as bookshelves or display cabinets or used as toy boxes, shoe storage etc. They look great with logs in or lined and made into ers for the garden. They can often be seen used in shop displays in farm shops, greengrocers etc. Several of our customers have also used them as 'floating' storage, secured to the wall - ideal for making the most of limited space. There is a larger gap under the top slat in each side so they can be easily carried when full. There are either the lighter or the older more weathered crates, it is worth bearing in mind that the weathered variety do vary a lot in condition and colour. Please bear in mind that when photographed the crates can appear smoother than they often are and their condition can require cleaning/sanding before being used in the house. We cannot guarantee, therefore, that you will receive a product that exactly matches the photos. These are genuine apple crates and have recently been used and as such may have mud/apple marks on them, some rough wood, the odd small piece of wood missing or uneven, split or slightly un-level slats, all adding to the rustic look .They are sorted for broken ones but if you receive one that has been missed please send us photos so that we can provide you with a replacement. We have no way of knowing if crates have been treated for woodworm. If this is something that concerns you we advise you treat them on arrival. Any crates with visible signs can be returned to us for a full refund or replacement. If you have a preference for either lighter or more weathered crates, please do advise us and we will do our best to accommodate you. Delivery - please note that delivery is by parcel courier or pallet network and someone will need to be available to sign for delivery. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday unless by special arrangement and can arrive between 08.00 and 18.00.
