Great product
We had a rat/mouse problem before Christmas 2024. I had tried shooting them and setting traps but the rats became very savvy and avoided the traps. When I could hear rats fighting under our kitchen units it was the last straw so reluctantly I bought a couple of bait stations and set them with these poison blocks along with some poison grain and positioned them outside . Almost immediately the bait was taken so I had to refill a couple of times, the stuff certainly works. Sadly some of the rodent must have died under our floorboards as we now have to cope with a rather nasty smell for a few days but I can cope with that knowing that the bait has done it's job

Excellent value for money and very well made
These boxes are very sturdy and require a key to open them. Requiring a key means they are safe to place in a garden as they are tamper proof. The product is easy to use and is not overly big.

Easy to use and good access
Used these boxes before so decided to buy some more as we have noticed a rat in the garden. They are easy to use and have plenty of room in them and good access for the offending vermin.

Good service
The box is of good quality however, it does not seem large enough for rats, the opening where the rodents gain access and box itself seems too small - ok for mice , we found a dead rat in the garden and the rat would not have easily gained access to the contents in the box it may squeeze in but I think the box needs to be larger for ordinary rats.

Decent Product, but Could Be More Effective
The Pest Expert Heavy Duty Rat & Mouse Poison Outdoor Bait Boxes are a solid option for outdoor rodent control. The boxes are sturdy, secure, and lockable, which is great for keeping the poison safely away from pets and children. However, while the setup is convenient, I didn’t see as much of a reduction in rodent activity as I had hoped. The boxes are easy to use and weather-resistant, but the bait didn’t seem to attract as many rodents as expected. It’s a decent solution, but not the most effective for severe infestations. Still, it’s a good starting point if you have smaller issues.

Rats can't damage them easily
Cheap and easy to use although having to have the key to open is a bit of a pain. You need to weight them down with a brick otherwise the rats will toss them about so they can only be opened by humans. The rats have already chewed some of the plastic supports for both the rod supports and other inner bits and run off with one of the rods, despite daily checks. Fortunately this poison seems to working

Everything seems sturdy - haven't used yet though
I'm giving it a 5 as it all seems very sturdy and well put together. I ordered two extra boxes along with the single box + 5 packet poison set. The hole seems likely large enough, but the rat I saw seems about double the size of that hole. Maybe it was just shock. The locks come with it, along with several gloves and simple, straight forward instructions on where to place the traps, against the wall versus hanging, and I doubt there will be a problem. It arrived promptly (I had to have it sent to Parcel Motel) and was packaged fine.
