The dictionary has every basic maths topic covered, great reference for kids for revision.

Purchased this book due to a colleague raving on about it all year.... definitely worth the money! Examples can be used as questions which is useful and the explanations allow me to refresh my subject content before teaching a subject. I have often copied the subject explanations for the children to use in their books as it is child friendly language and extremely useful. A worthwhile resource for both KS1 and 2 teachers as long as they incorporate it into their planning and lessons and do not just leave it sitting in the corner of their room as I have seen another colleague do.

My favourite book for explaining concepts in primary maths. It has a clear explanation and gives an example to show how to apply it. Helped me in my early years of teaching and I would recommend to anyone who needs a skill explained.

This book was bought for a child with learning difficulties and has been of great help to her understanding of the subject. The print in the book is clear and presented in bright colours. Just what was needed!

This is clearly presented and well written and covers all the maths I need to help my year 4 and 5 children with homework. It explains the terms and methods in a simple, easy to follow format.

Cannot praise this book highly enough, not only will it help your kids but it will help you to help your kids. I am not a school kid but a mature student who was struggling with maths, once I bought this dictionary the mud cleared and I haven't looked back. I have purchased other maths aids but this is by far the best, the pages are colourful and you are led in easy to understand examples, to find out more order a copy today and if you do I would be interested to hear your feedback

Needed help for my 10 year old who was bringing home work he hadn't even been taught how to do yet and bought two different maths dictionaries. This was by far the best, it is visual, simply explained and easy to read for both myself and my child. After I'd bought it I found out bizarrely that it is one of my friends' 7yr old son's favourite bedtime reading books! All round very helpful for primary children.

I probably use it more than the children, for checking out how they are doing things, rather than them looking things up. That said the section on shapes has been of great value for their homework recently. As you'd expect of Usborne, easy to read, easy to use, attractive and well researched content. Good value when I ordered it and delivery super quick.

Very helpful for my kids with their maths. Very well organized and explained. This is the second one I buy as I lost the first one I bought years ago. I highly recommend this book.

紙が一枚一枚しっかりしていて、丈夫な本だった。 簡単な数学を英語で慣れようと買ったが、様々な言い換えや例があり、読みやすかった。日本の学生が習わないような考え方も載っていて、面白みもあると思う。 ただ途中、計算機の使い方を余分なほど丁寧に書いていて、自分にはあまり参考にならなかった。 自分は大学生(英語の成績は中間程度)で、すらすら読める内容となっていた。 簡単な数学英語に慣れるという目的が達成できたので星5。

The maths dictionary was great i can find all the problems of the maths standard one to five all math problem with tables here.

My son is in 4th grade and in the Math Olympiads club. This book is a must for elementary students. I suggest to buy it when they’re in 2nd grade. It explains so many Math concepts clearly that kids have a hard time understanding during class. My 4th grader uses it to understand angles, rectangular prisms, and so much more.
