Will this bin fit under a standard kitchen counter (and have enough headroom to open)?

Dear Customer The height of this bin is 67.0cm and 95.0cm when the lid is open Kind regards

Reviews complain about a loud cracking noise when the lid closes...have recent purchasers had this problem, or have the makers sorted it out?

We had similar issue of cracking noise, replaced with a new unit and the new one is ok

Are you able to fully fill this bin? I noted on another bin with similar shape some complain that when taking out the liner it was only half full

Yes you can fill the bin up to it’s whole capacity.its an excellent size and good looking. We love it. Mj

Just wondering why does this need batteries when other silent close peddle bins don't. what makes this different?

I have this bin and it doesn’t require batteries - the product description confirms this.
