My husband was after this for his birthday! Best gift ever to receive "a useful gift" his words! 1st dry day today and it's set up and cooking wonders! We have a large firepit and this is brilliant! I'm actually impressed! Highly recommended. Very sturdy and a great new addition to the garden!

I'm using this over a 800mm firepit and it fits perfectly. Assembly was easy and it feels very secure. A joy to cook on, easy to raise/lower the grill - I used an additional hook to connect the "hoist" chain to one of the support chains to stop it spinning when trying to flip burgers. I don't know how hardy it is or how prone to rust it is but it looks and feels solid. In an ideal world, it would be collapsible with the supporting triangle folding up so the whole thing could be "squished" for easy storage, but not sure how necessary this is. It's also surprisingly light, so once you've finished cooking, you can easily move it aside to just have a fire instead.

We cook out a lot and wanted something to go over our fire pit. This is perfect and was easy to put together. It’s been outside for a couple of years now and is still in good condition and has held its shape. It’s easy to clean, easy to adjust height and is strong enough to hold a cast iron skillet almost the same size as the tray.

Almost perfect! I had a Landman tripod that I bought for £25 5 years ago for a trip to Le Mans 24 and it has been awesome, the best BBQ I HAD EVER PURCHASED. I bought this because I wanted a bigger area to cook and something a bit mor sturdy as the Landman has notoriously weak legs. It is great, easy to assemble and gives great variation in height and movement when cooking but you need a decent fire pit to match. Only issue I found was the nut at the top is too chunky and did not allow free movement of the chain, this was easily solved by replacing but should be sorted out if it wants to score a 5. Other than that, a perfect cooking tool and you will never look o using any other BBQ again, after using it.

I bought this product to use as a bbq for the Harbour Housewares Cast Iron Garden Fire Pit Burner With Handles - 870mm Diameter . The grill fits perfectly over this model and I have had some enjoyable bbq food from it! Two of us assembled it without much fuss. I have not tried any other cooking utensils yet (would love to hang a cauldron!) but the grill has been full and I have not been concerned about stability. The legs are made of a plastic but do not get too hot and the chain is suitable for the grill. Overall would recommend this particularly for the very reasonable price.

It was a first time I have purchased and used a tripod grill. This product is very sturdy and provides a great area of cooking which can accomodate my large family in one go. Quick delivery and very nice product.

It's of poor quality, it's dangerous. The legs are sectional and screw together, the joints are loose in a couple of places and they wobbly like mad, dangerous on the first bbq we have tried to have. It's ruined the bbq. Such a disappointment. The stainless strip around the grill is also dented badly. It looked so promising in the pictures and description. Just dangerously cheap and ruined a weekend.

Have used this product over a cast iron fire pit to bbq food. It works a treat being able to lower the tray to suit the heat and food being cooked. The tray also cleans up well without too much effort. Looks very impressive.
