SE 360 solar fountain for small ponds and containers with battery backup and adjustable flow pump (Solar Powered)

Really impressive quality and at a great price. This fountain gives a constant flow even on the dullest, cloudy or rainy day. I'd tried another brand of solar fountain which only worked in full brilliant sunlight before cutting out when a light cloud passed over. Not ideal for the north of Scotland! Powerbee's fountain though even works at night thanks to the fact you can switch it on when you want, so you can enjoy your water feature even after the sun goes down. The fountain's spray range just fits inside my large (45cm diameter) ceramic bowl. So this is the smallest size of pond you could use, otherwise the spray would go over the edge and not refill. The spray is over 30cm high (you can adjust the flow) and makes a relaxing, gentle sound - not like a running tap. With the choice of heads, you can experiment with different effects: jet, bubble or various classic sprays. And the fact there's no wiring means you can set this up in the furthest corner of the garden - and move it about when you fancy a change. It took less than five minutes to set up and worked straight from the box. Highly recommended.

Arrived earlier than anticipated, easy to set-up whoever did the quality check removed the screws from the battery/controller switch (easily replaced from the oddments draw) worked brilliantly day 1 & 2, solar panel is indirect sunlight from around 6am - 7pm most days. Today 260415 in dazzling sunshine all day, left turned off until 4pm to charge as anticiapted chilling in the garden late on, turned on, nothing, nada... maybe it fancied a day off, will see if comes on tomorrow!

Acquired as a birthday present for a refurbished established pond found after a house move. Works on a reasonbly reliable basis and brilliantly when the sun shines and even with the occasional cloudy and overcast weather we get in the south east. Has a reasonable battery life on it when charged so can go on long after the sun goes down. The frogs and fish love it. Can be a bit temperamental if it doesn't get much sun, but generally speaking can get it going again after a bit of jiggling about and switching on and off again- therefore not 5 stars.. Has a long lead cable so can manoevre the solar cell around to follow the sun in the garden which is very useful. Also very helpful if the pond is a long way from the house and an electricity supply, which ours is. Highly recommend.

I did a lot of research when looking for a solar fountain that would be "man enough" to keep refreshing the water in my large (900 litre) pot which is planted with water plants and has goldfish in it. The Sunspray fountain arrived earlier than advised (always a good sign!), it was very well packed and is a good quality item. All the pieces are solid enough and the instructions were really clear on how to fix it together (another good sign!). Within 30 minutes of receiving the fountain it was floating on the container. Of course, with our "summer" it didn't work immediately as there was no sun, but within a couple of days of fitful sunshine it was merrily spraying away on its' floating pad. I'd recommend a couple of things: put wire across the pond/container to prevent the fountain floating to the edge and sending all the water cascading out (the pump is very efficient!) and putting the rechargeable battery backup in a plastic bag to keep it watertight. I am very pleased with the Sunspray fountain, it does what it says, and the battery backup keeps it going for a while in dull weather too.

I wanted this item to drive a VERY SMALL, 3'' high spitting frog that would sit in the pool next to the pump. I was using a 10mm tube so there wouldn't / shouldn't be a problem with the volume of water this pump could handle. The item took 3 weeks to arrive. On the day of arrival I set it up in full sun to charge the battery over a THREE day period. This was July 2014 and the weather was exceptional, full sun for 12 hours a day. The pump had very little power. I tried bypassing the battery, I fitted the fountain attachment as shown in this picture to see if it was the frog that was the problem. Had it worked as well as the photograph shows, I would have been happy leaving it with the fountain on. IT DIDNT. I contacted the seller as he had suggested by phone. He was a very rude individual who just wanted to talk over me to tell me what I could try to fix it, all of which I had tried already, so he could get off the phone quickly and get back to his phone orders. He was downright RUDE. The item did not work, The Seller didn't care '' KEEP AWAY FROM POWERBEE LTD ''

As with all my previous products from Powerbee this is a fantastic solar fountain and is very easy to set up. All Powerbee solar fairy lights and this fountain work all year round in my garden (and I live in the north of England so it's not sunny all the time!). The lights worked all through the winter and I even left them out when they were covered in solid ice in the recent harsh winter and they STILL sparkled! The fountain is just the right size for my small pond and the product range from Powerbee includes larger sizes for those lucky enough to have bigger ponds! I like that it can float or submerge and has different spray patterns. Powerbee are extremely good value, they really DO work and they despatch extremely quickly. I cannot recommend them enough.

The product looks good and worked when it was set up. However the battery doesn't charge much at all, thus when the sun goes away (behind a cloud!) it has to go to back up battery and then soon gives up. It was set up during a VERY Sunny weekend.. very hot and no clouds about. It didn't even hold charge on this day, and soon stopped working. We have tried to charge it up in the sun as much as poss, but doesn't last at all. we are based in the Uk, and yes we dont get sun all the time, but expected it to last more that 20 mins on the back up battery. If i bought again i would look at something better, even more expensive to get what we wanted. (just to give some water movement to a pond with goldfish in).
