You can spend hundreds of dollars for these kind of tools, but I don't think they are any more accurate or useful than this set. I'm a happy customer.

I have checked all the functions of this tool a am impressed with the accuracy. I don't think all of them will be as accurate as mine, but you might get lucky. Bubble level +- 1° Square and 45° dead on Protractor +- 1° of concurrence with scale. All are within my level of skill and accurate enough to suit my needs. Speed square is also true 90° angle. I haven't checked rafter layout markings but expect them to correspond to trueness of main 90° angle. Markings on speed square are painted on and will wear off after much use. If I needed another one, this would be my choice.

EDIT: The seller reached out and provided a refund because of my issues and acquired a picture of the ruler marks to assess. Because of this I'm bumping up to 3 stars from 2 as I appreciate good customer service. I'm currently taking a welding course in college and needed to get a combination square, and came across this kit with a few extra bits that I figured would be useful down the line. The overall product is fine enough, and I like having the extra pieces, but it's disappointing in a couple aspects. Number 1 being that on the ruler, the 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch marks are the same length as the 1/8 inch marks, making it difficult to discern at a quick glance. I find myself having to count the 1/8 marks which is a bit of a nuisance, but not the end of the world. Number 2 being that the protractor head just simply doesn't work. It was EXTREMELY difficult to turn at first and now it is just completely stuck. I made sure to loosen the restraining screws, even removing them at one point, and it still would not budge at all. Overall, I probably wouldn't recommend this kit, but the price is hard to beat for what they offer.

I ordered this to use at work for working with sheet metal. Unfortunately there were a few issues with the product. The protractor was not aligned well, so the angles were not accurately measured. Pic 1: A little hard to see in the photo, but even on 180° you can see the arrows are not able to line up to both 180° markers, and when I actually set it to 180° (in line with the steel rule), the marker arrow was not aligned with either 180° marking. The centre head was also misaligned so it did not actually find the centre. It did not centre on the steel rule, even despite trying to force it centre and locking it in place Pic 2: the rule not centred in the centre head Pic 3: all lines marked with it. As you can see using it from one side or the other resulted in an almost 5mm difference in the "centre" mark. For the other parts of the product: The regular combination square head does appear to be accurate on both the 90° and the 45°. I tested the spirit level as well and it, too, was accurate, as well as the roofers square it came with. All in all the construction felt ok, but the accuracy was poor and so for me it had no use.
