I can't get the strips to work. No colours come up at all ... Anyone experience that too?

If you are in ketosis after a while strips cease to show it - the reason is this... When your liver first starts producing ketones your body does not know how to use them so they are expelled in your urine and the strips detect them and change to a darker colour. After a week or two in ketosis your body adapts and starts to use the ketones as fuel - they are no longer expelled because they are being consumed to keep you running so the strips won't show anything. Strips are only good for determining whether you have entered a state of ketosis. To get an accurate idea of what level of ketosis you are actually in you need a blood KETONE meter

Do you get an amount readout? like 0.8 or what ever? or is it just literally colour-based meaning "less" "more" "more" "more" "more" etc?

No number/value readout - the test strip is a long, thin piece of plastic with a tiny square of the actual tester at the end, where the urine goes. The small square will change color within a range (off-white to dark purple), and there is a chart on both the package and the bottle for you to compare the color of your test strip with. I don't think this is intended for precise measurements.

Question 3

The keto sticks stopped working after 2 weeks.  I ordered some more, but feel I would like a refund for this box

If you read up on the ketone sticks it does say the body can get used to being in ketosis so they might not show properly through the urine test. The most effective way to test ketones is through the blood testing device

The seal was broken on mine test strips all funny colour don’t change colour when testing could they be faulty
