measure twice drill one time
it makes good space for laptop. my dislike was the hole for the power cord was not protected it could chafe and cause the cord to power the shelf with out you knowing it. it should come with a grommet to protect the power cord.

Very solid keyboard tray.
This keyboard tray is with heavy gauge metal making it ridged. It’s not too difficult assemble. The part that can make this difficult is the desk or table it will be mounted to. I was able to flip my desk over to mount it to the desk. If you have to lay under and hold the brackets up to mount them is where the difficulty increases. I have a full size ergonomic keyboard that does not leave room for the mouse. I’m just happy to get my keyboard off the desk. My cat found it to be his new resting spot. That is a keyboard under the cat. I had to relocate something and the cat is very stubborn. My only concern is the screws that mounts the bracket to the desk. If they don’t hold long term I will consider drilling through and using threaded inserts for a mount as strong as the tray itself.

Perfect, strong, good quality
Perfect for my daughter’s desk. I am using it to keep a 17inch notebook and it works ok. Easy to install

Included screws were too long. Went through the tip of my desk. Ruining the top of my desk
Ruined my desk top. Screws included were slightly too long as they protrude out of the top now. Ruining my desk top. Brand new desk I may add. Fml thanks.

Too skinny for me, otherwise ok
The tray was too skinny - my fault as i didn't think about that when i ordered it. It's not wide enough for a logitech K360 keyboard plus mouse if you want to be comfortable. It's also not really a "desk" item - it's very industrial and has a lip that would bite into your wrist if you tried to use it all day. Oh well, try again.

It Works ... may need some help in different applications
Works good. Though I wished it could drop another inch lower (maybe I am missing something) Easy and simple. Does not have a 'lock type' mechanism to hold it 'under' and 'out' Would I purchase again? Yes, it fits most of my personal needs in this application.

Easy to install
Keyboard holder was easy to install and nice quality.

Cheap garbage product.
Not even a week into hanging it on my desk the roller assembly literally exploded from nothing more than rolling in/out with the keyboard on it.. Un-fixable, un-useable. Save your money or spend more for something worth it.
