So it doesn't take the whole smell away but it does make a HUGH difference. I would 100 percent recommend

My daughter plays a lot of soccer. Because of that, neither her shoes nor her bag ever smell nice. We decided to try to keep a new set of cleats from going funky too quickly and looked around at various products. We'd tried just about everything n the past, but only direct sunlight ever worked all that well. Unfortunately, direct sunlight isn't always available in the winter or after an evening game. Decided to give GloveStix a go after reading the reviews and watching a couple of online testimonials. So far, so good. I have to say the new cleats still smell pretty new and the bag has stopped smelling like a damp locker room. Wasn't sure my daughter would use the sticks consistently as she's never put much effort into keeping her gear clean (maybe because she never saw much return on investment?), but GloveStix work so well, she's used them EVERY time her cleats come off. That, in and of itself, is a testimonial to their effectiveness. We are only a couple weeks into using the GloveStix and I'm hoping the SilverSeal technology really lasts the promised 10yrs. Even if it last through only one soccer season, though, it'll be worth the price.

My husband has the nastiest basketball shoes. We bought these sticks after reading other reviews to help with the smell. After a few days his shoes smelled so much better! I then used them for a pair of mine and they didn’t work as well. Perhaps they used all their smell fighting ability on his shoes! But I was hoping we would get more use out of them before having to order more.

These are magical. I hesitated because of the price but the first product that has helped my son's soccer shoes not have to live in the garage because they smell so bad. I was starting to feel bad for the lockers near him because of the stench coming from the bag from the shoes but this has certainly helped! It didn't completely get rid of it but made it WAY better! Would buy again!

I’ve waited to write this review after I’ve tested for a few months. My summer house slippers were snanky. I put these in and waited a week. Still stanky, not as bad but with stiks scent on top. I’ve had for many months and the stank has weakened but not gone. I’ve found Funk away spray works better for me. These are good for maintaining clean shoes smells.

I tried all the sprays and powders I could find and nothing worked on my kids' shoes. I thought maybe they weren't washing their feet properly so I did an experiment and sniffed their feet after they showered and it smelled fine, like soap; at the end of the day after wearing their shoes it was cringe-worthy. So it was the shoes. After looking for alternatives, I found stankstix on amazon. Intrigued, I read the reviews and invested in a pair on amazon so I would get it the next day with prime and went all in and bought a 4 pack from the stankstix website. I was desperate and hopeful and just couldn't stomach the smell of my sweet kids' pungent feet, with or without socks. I imagine all the bacteria it must be rubbing all over the house - ick! After using stankstix for 1.5 weeks consistently, no more cringe-worthy pungent smell from their feet/socks. I have a stankstix for all kids' shoes - cleats and sneakers, and the decrease of feet/sock stink is at 90%. I ask to smell the kids' feet (and they are happy to oblige) and I'm shocked at the lack of odor! My 12 yo son is even putting the stix in when he comes home - that's a miracle on so many levels. I'm not one to write reviews for products but I am going out of my way to write one for this product. I'm just that happy with the results. I will be telling everyone about this!

This is our second set of stankstix, they work and are convenient for my daughter to keep in her volleyball back pack so the stink form her shoes won't reach the rest of her jerseys that she keeps in there. I like that it's one piece, so you won't lose one and they are large enough and bright enough so you know exactly where they are. They are a little pricey but they have been a solid purchase for us.

If you want to get rid of shoes odor, this doesn't work. If you want a strong room scent,this will work for a while.

Worked really well, removed stink from shoes even after just one night. Best results if placed in shoes for a whole day (24hrs).

Sticks work great for my shoes.
