It's doesn't state it has 10% sulfur and 3% salicylic acid I'm a loyalty buyer of sal3 soap and it should state the percentage ingredients?

This question has been answered many times - this DermaHarmony 3.7 oz Sulfur & Salicylic bar soap contains 10% sulfur and 3% salicylic acid. This is fairly common knowledge. We don't market/promote this soap based on the percentage of these two inactive ingredients. The ingredients are listed on the label in descending order from the highest to the lowest amount.  The product is labeled correctly for a soap.

The bulk of the nonvolatile matter in the product consists of an alkali salt of fatty acids and the product's detergent properties are due to the alkali-fatty acid compounds.  This product is labeled, sold, and represented solely as soap.  The brand you speak of marketed their product as if it were a drug. Whether a product is a cosmetic or a drug or a soap under the law is determined in part by the packaging and how the product is marketed.

Our Sulfur and Salicylic Acid soap has terrific cleansing properties.

can you use for bed bug bites

We know customers use DermaHarmony soap as part of their regime to combat bed bugs. We don't market our soap for this treatment and use for such is an off-label drug use.

Bed bugs have pestered humans since ancient times. In the early 1900s it was a rare to have never been bitten by or at least seen a bed bug. A pot of powdered sulfur (then called “brimstone”) and alcohol could be placed in the center of the room and set on fire to fumigate the room. The process did kill all stages of bed bugs, but it also damaged the house (making the walls yellow, burning the floor, and putting off that sulfur smell).  The process is known as the “fire and brimstone” method. Don't do it! If you can smell the gas, then you are breathing air that contains sulfur dioxide. It's bad!  Sulfur Dioxide is a dependable insecticide. It is a dry gas which is very poisonous to pests and insects.

Powdered sulfur can be used to kill bed bugs.  Our soap is not effective to control/combat bed bugs.  Sulfur has anti-inflammatory properties and can lessen itching.

Is this soap similar to sal3 soap?  that soap has no smell but is 10%sulpher and 3%salicylic acid also.  the sal3 company seems to have disappeared.

Yes, it is a 10% Sulfur and 3% Salicylic natural soap.  The bar is a bit larger and has a similar fragrance.  The SAL3 bar was made in Indonesia if my memory serves me correctly.  Our bar is made in the USA.  SAL3 contained Cocamide DEA which 'EWG Skin Deep' scores as 7 (possible human carcinogen).  We don't include Cocamide DEA and you won't find ingredients in our products that score poorly on 'Skin Deep'. It also included lanolin and ethanol.  Neither of these ingredients are in the DermaHarmony bar.  I read somewhere that the SAL3 formulation changed in 2016 and moved away from the original formula.  SAL3 was never up-front about their ingredients.  DermaHarmony puts the ingredients front and center.  As a brand, we're more focused on ingredients derived from plants.
