Expensive but tasty
Money is too tight so I stopped ordering these things, but I loved these when I wasnโt living week to week. They taste good, they arenโt too delicate to work with, and theyโre culinarily versatile. If youโd like to try them and you love tomatoes I say go for it

Product has changed
I am extremely disappointed. I have been eating these wraps for a long time and really liked them. However my last order was not the same. Not only was the packaging different, the wrap was a different color and a different thickness. Never mind that the package contained 6 wraps instead of 12 as in previous orders. I usually make sandwich wraps and Mexican style "fajitas" with these wraps with great results. However with the "new" wraps the side blew out with very little contents, the wrap is now so flimsy it just doesn't hold up. Not sure why the company has chosen to change the product but any previous review would have been 5 stars and now just 1. I was a loyal customer but probably won't buy this product again due to recent changes. Too bad since there are so few low carb wrap options out there that actually taste good.

GemWraps are a great addition to my pantry
These definitely won't be to everyone's liking, but I love these wraps. I've tried the tomato and carrot so far. They are strong enough to roll and hold food without ripping, but are definitely not too chewy if you let some of the moisture from the filling "set" the wrap and make it more tender. On the other hand, too much moisture will make the wrap gummy and prone to disintegrating where it's wet. It makes sense, since they are made from fruit and vegetable paste. Five stars for form and function. The two flavors I've tried are distinct but don't overwhelm the filling. I do wish they were less expensive - the price will determine how often I use them.

OK for paleo diets, better alternatives for low carb eaters
If I were on a paleo or carb free diet, I'd give these a higher rating for increasing the variety of the permitted foods. I am a diabetic, and tried these because they were a very low carb way to make a wrap. The cost is very high per wrap. I found the taste mild but pleasant, but didn't enjoy the gelatin like texture. There are low carb Mexican tortilla products that fit into my diet just as well, cost less (especially if you buy them in the supermarket instead of on Amazon.com), and have better taste and mouthfeel.

Low-Carb, Concentrated Tomato Goodness - A Little Spicy
Let's get something straight - these are a bit weird. If you accept that, as well as the culinary challenge, they can make your low-carb wrap a gourmet meal! If you've ever had a fruit roll-up, these are a lot like that, both in texture and in hyper-concentrated flavor. I wasn't sure what to expect, and by itself these taste less like tomato than I imagined, but when paired with other foods the tomato flavor is clear. They are very thin, however, and come on a plastic-type backing for each sheet. (The package says they're BPA-free.) There are only a few sheets in each pack, but it's enough for a few meals. The instructions suggest using these with the rough side to the inside of the wrap, but I tried it both ways and preferred the smooth side in, rough side out - I didn't like the feel of the smooth side. I used these to make a BLT wrap, and they were great! The package also has a recipe for a caprese wrap, and I imagine they'd be good with any wrap or appetizer where you'd want some tomato zing. They could even be used to make a variation of sushi! They're also longer lasting than fresh tomatoes, so I think they'd be good layered in traditional sandwiches or even sliced and added to homemade pizza or pasta. Warning: They have a bit of a spicy kick due to some added red/chipotle peppers. I'm a spice wimp, though, and I can handle it, so you probably can, too.

Odd but Fufilling Wraps!
These are probably the strangest food item I've purchased on Amazon.com! I was trying to find a way to get more veggies in my diet, and I knew there were "spinach tortillas" and all that jazz, but nothing quite like these. I wasn't sure what to expect when they arrived. The texture before use is like plastic - VERY odd. They are individually wrapped which is great. You get a full serving of tomatoes and you can certainly taste them. The instructions advice to wet the smooth side (one side is bumpy, almost looks like those organic fruit leathers!) and then roll up your insides. I press and hold the corners to make a burrito. Definitely wet both sides though - I found that if it wasn't sufficiently wet enough to stick together and semi-dry that way (while you're squishing it together) it just falls apart or the insides burst out of the sides. Non-GMO, Gluten-free, Vegan, Fat free, Low Sodium, Low Carb - they just work for everybody! The vegetable glycerin makes me happy too, no high fructose corn syrup here... and... 25 calories. That's IT! I can't believe I found something to replace tortillas with. You will lose weight eating these and get the extra vitamins you need. It takes some practice to perfect your wraps, but once you have it done, I promise you'll be addicted! Also, the packaging stays resealed every time. Something I forgot to mention. I usually have an issue with resealable bags but this one keeps the moisture out and I never have a problem trying to get it to stay shut.

The wraps are very chewy and hard kind of like a fruit roll up
The wraps are very chewy and hard kind of like a fruit roll up. They don't have much flavor which I guess is a good thing since they aren't what I would consider good. The price is cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. these are really thin chewy sheets of what is suppose to be tomato. on the bright side they work for rolling lunchmeat or other foods into them down side they taste like a hard fruit roll up.

I'm obsessed with the tasty tomato goodness of these wraps! :)
The flavor and versatility of these yummilicious wraps is just amazing! I have been adding hummus, a leaf of romaine, and turkey and making wonderful Tomato Wrap Rollups for lunch! I love the 25-calorie part of the deal .... it frees up more of my "calorie budget" for other food (or more wraps!) Also completely amazing is to make a BLT (bacon-lettuce-tomato wrap) by adding a shmear of fresh avocado (or guacamole), adding some romaine, bacon and diving in! Happy tomato-y heaven! (Confession: I've also been known to just nibble on the wraps, all by themselves, too) As with any new product, you have to figure out what works when using it. I've learned to act quickly if my fillings are a bit on the wet side, so that I don't end up with the wrong things sticking to the counter or my plate ... but it just adds to the adventure of healthy eating! These pair really well with things like hummus and fresh veggies, and even things like tuna salad with romaine! And from a TASTE and FLAVOR standpoint ... delightfully tangy and tomato-y without being overpowering or ketchup-y in any way. There are no weird "fake" flavors or aftertastes, either ... just tomato goodness! And take a look at the nutrition label ~ look! Vitamins! Nutrients! This is a delightful addition to any low carb, low calorie, veggie-centric, or other healthy lifestyle. (And if you miss the flavor of barbecue potato chips, check out the barbecue flavored wraps!) yum yum yum!
