I have bought 5 of these filter (now 6 with this last order) and i can tell you that they deff work. My area is very humid all the time so getting the water out of my air line before painting is not easy...i usually have one of these on my tank and one inline before the spray gun.....i change the beads damn near every time i spray now.....but eventually after about 3 months the housing will crack or start minor leaking then eventually its no good.....i will say keep any chemical like acetone away from them because it weakens the clear plastic and causes it to snap (don't ask me how i know) but if you need a quick fix these will work for a little while

Well made, looks to be well machined with appropriate materials. Fits right into my compressor lines. No problems with moisture in paint since I started using it. Beats the heck out of other such products I have bought.

These are very nice and sturdy and do not leak, very good for keeping the air dry and you can easily see the desiccant silica gel to know when to regenerate the beads.

I gave this product 5 star because it does do what it says, however as I'm sure many of you as myself try to save a buck and try to use things hoping for results other than intended, that being said the picture on the package shows the use of it before a paint gun, but the add also shows it on the air compressor outlet as well, let me tell you if you use it for a paint gun I'm sure it should be fine but also if you have no other filter/dryer in place this will not last through one cycle of the air compressor, I live in FLA used this on a cold day [60] yeah that's cold here, anyway compressor was completely drained, closed the valve and used a air tool for maybe 10 minutes total and beads were completely pink, I bought two of these so swapped it out for the other one, used my air blower to blow off the debris I had caused from the air tool and the 2nd one was pink before I got things blown off, was hoping for more is all, ya gonna have to spend a couple hundred to get a good system, just can't get around that

Started leaking after 3 uses

Using it on a plasma cutter - fitted between the compressor and the standard water trap that the plasma cutter came with. First use, half of the desiccant turned pink, so that tells me that it's doing its job. No moisture ended up in the water trap. Would suggest getting a bag of desiccant at the same time, as it's cheap enough, and you'll probably need to change it out fairly regularly - which is very easy to do.

I don't really know what else to say but this thing is crap. I can't even return it because I needed to use it for a project I was working on and had to slather the thing in epoxy to make it kinda work. I received the product with stress cracks around the nut. I noticed it and was debating on sending it back. But i needed it for a project I was doing that day. Sure enough the thing was leaking like a sieve. It was so bad my air compressor couldn't even keep up . I coated it in epoxy to hopefully last me until my project was done. The whole time I just had a stressful feeling having it near me like I was holding a 90psi bomb that was about to blow any minute. The second my project was finished I threw this in the trash.

Great product and works better then my previous air compressor dryer which used less desiccant beads and more changing of beads. The dryer filter is well made and holds quite a few beads. Overall I’m pleased with this product and would recommend it.

Funciona bien y la calidad es buena, solo hay que manipularlo con cuidado al instalarlo, no requiere mucho torque y cuando se carguen las bolitas desecantes hay que asegurarse que no interfieran con el sello y que no queden muy apretadas
