600 Piece Basic Mix - Mini Waffle Blocks, Classroom Must Haves

These are hands down one of my favorite children's toys. As an elementary teacher, I have purchased several sets of these, and they are always the most popular free choice among my students. We recently gifted a set to a 6 year-old in our family and he absolutely loved these too. He was using them nonstop for the entire week that we visited and was fascinated by all of the different ways these little guys can be connected and turned into 3-D masterpieces. While 600 pieces may sound like a lot, it is definitely does not look like a very impressive amount for the price, but it is still enough to get started and have hours of building fun. While they may not be the most affordable, this is the best price that I found for this product and it is a hit with the kids every time, so I call that a win!

We've had to force me youngest to take a break from these for 24 hours. That's not a knock on the product, but rather a testament to how much fun he was having with them. These are great for creating play. My kids first got hooked on them on vacation in a toy store. Then we got a small set for them at Christmas. We eventually caved and had to get the biggest set we could find, the 600. Great creative play toy. As an added bonus, it hurts much less to step on these than it does with Legos!

We bought a set of plus plus blocks after seeing it recommended on Timberdoodle's homeschool curriculum. I'm so happy we did! It made a fantastic Christmas gift for my 5 year old, who could spend hours sitting and building random things with it (usually airplanes). I love the versatility, where your imagination is your only limiting factor in building anything you want. I love watching his little mind work and seeing all the creations he comes up with. Its a refreshing break from his lego sets that keeps his mind busy for hours at a time, which also helps me get other things done around the house or with working from home.

Students love using these this after their work is done this is the second time I purchase. I wanted to have plenty for more than 2 students at a time.

We bought these for a family trip to Hawaii. They were great for entertaining the kids on the airplane. We have since used them on long road trips and they are great. I like them better than legos for travel because 1) they pack very compactly 2) they go together in many different ways so there is a lot of creative freedom in what you can create 3) if you loose a couple of them on the airplane it isn't devastating 4) if you happen to step on one that has been accidentally left on the carpet it isn't painful! When my dad first saw these on our trip he very vocally told me how stupid he thought they were, but after he saw all the neat creations the kids came up with he changed his mind!

If your child likes Legos, he’ll love these. They attach to each other in a variety of ways - making them perfect for building or making people, animals or whatever your child imagines. Pay attention to the size - they’re very small. But my grandson (12) loves them.

My son likes building and making things out of these. He wants the pastels and the neon colors too. My son has autism and he likes building and making things to calm down. These are fun to create Minecraft people, hearts, he has enjoyed playing with these. The color is like the box says.

This toy is addictive for kids and adults. Highly recommend also buying the base plate. You can build a mini castle with it.
