Has the quality got back to the usual Hanes standard?

Nope. I'm disappointed with the quality.

Are the colors the same as shown?

The colors in the picture do not necessarily represent the colors you will receive. They will be assorted colors, but not necessarily those pictured and there could be other colors (e.g., lime green) that are not pictured.

How many come in the pack for $14.48?

Five or six. I bought them a while ago for my 12 year-old. They don't show the lime green pair that came with the rest.
