Ive lost all power to my ecobee unit thermastate n furnace was told there was a smell of somthing burning coming thru the vents system no power now

If there is power getting to the furnace, but no power to the thermostat then the transformer is burned up. If you just put the thermostat in ??? and this happened ??? its hooked up wrong and made the transformer burn up. If you put a new one in ??? also install a 5 amp fuse on the red 24 volt wire that goes to the thermostat. Pop the fuse rather than burn stuff up

Please, i am looking at the sec 24v; which side is common, and which 24v? most transformers show 24v and c.

Will this replace hq1056899pu?  other # on it is 4000-09e07ae191. second number is very similar to that on the transformer but not exact.

I’m not a HVAC guy.  Don’t even remember what unit I put this on.  Everywhere I put your number in, it brings up this transformer.  My guess is that as long as the lugs match up, it will work.

i have a 1999 goodman heatherand the transformer needs to be replace. sears was unable to help. said they don' make part no longer... will this work.

I do not have an answer for you.  If I were you I would Google it and see if it's capable.  On my unit, it wasn't the exact same part, but it was capable.  And till this day, it is working wonderful.
