Is the rice grown with pesticides or herbicides? (Question for the manufacturer)

The package itself says it's organic, natural, non-gmo, pure, and clean. The "organic" label means the manufacturer is already saying that it's grown without pesticides and herbicides. The fact that it's batch-tested for problems is also a good sign that the manufacturer is taking everything, including gluten-free and non-GMO seriously.

How do you reseal this pkg?

My bag of flour is different. But after cutting across the bag there should be a zip-lock below that to zip it closed with you are finished using it.

Would this work for making a roux for gumbo?

Sweet rice flour, not white rice flour, makes a very good roux & I’ve found if used with butter instead of oil or lard, it has a smooth, silken quality as well as taste. This gf flour mimics gluten very well, no need for thickener if used alone f/gravies/sauces

Great product

I like everything about the product except the pull string to open the package. I have bought several of these packages of rice flour and most of them have been hard to open. The pull string is too weak to rip the plastic and ends up stretching and then breaking off. Other than that, the product is always fresh and great to cook with.

Fluffy and soft bread

I created a sourdough starter with this GF rice flour. This created a softer, fluffier bread than the white GF flour.

Organic and gluten-free

I bought this to cook for my dog. I am switching her over to organic, all-natural, fresh food. This brown rice flour seems to be of good quality. It's a little pricey, but that's probably because it is organic and gluten-free. I haven't had the chance to use it yet, but I will very soon. I'm sure I will be using it quite often in the recipes.
