Is "printable" and lightscribe the same thing?  will i be able to use this with my lightscribe burner and app?

No, they are completely different. Printable means it is printed on a ink jet printer designed to handle dvd's or cd's. It must be a lightscribe dvd to work with your lightscribe burner. I have both and since getting a printer that can print on printable dvd's, I rarely use the lightscribe.

Are these  ' hub printable ' ?

These DVD+R are not Hub Printable. You can use Verbatim 94917 DVD+R 4.7GB 16X DataLifePlus White Inkjet Printable, Hub Printable - 50pk Spindle.

Will these play in any ordinary dvd player. I have a couple home videos i want on dvd

It has played on any of my players on any of my computers and people that I have sent DVDs to people and they have played on their players  plus the printable let you print or on each one of them if you have the program a good product

What does the "rw" in the white box underneath "120min" stand for? seems the discs are only write and not rewrite, then why "rw"?
