Well this mount then plastic I’m talking as thin as plastic wrap

It has worked well on every material I have used it on from plastic to stainless steel. I don't see why it would not work on thin plastic. Use sparingly.

Are there special storage instructions for the left over glue?

It is supposed to go in the refrigerator. I used it one time and the leftover glue is now in the fridge. No guarantee.

Is this sold as a package of two bottles ? .. each at $15.00 per.. ?

I don’t know. Last time I looked it was sold as one bottle for more than $20. It works very well for gluing rubber tracks on a toy bulldozer or tank.
