A Perfect Chair for All My Fellow Shorty’s!
I did months of research on what is now my fourth chair since 2020 WFH. Not only has going the cheap-chair route ruined my back but I have sciatic nerve issues and really needed my next purchase to be a better choice. I read all the reviews on this chair and the one that convinced me was the person who said this chair helped alleviate their back pain as soon as they sat down. I was nervous that it might not fit me, since I am only 5’1” but I was willing to take a chance, because I felt customer service would be able to help customize the chair enough that it fit me. Well! Let me tell you, when I opened the box and saw the parts, I was blown away! Firstly, all the parts are quality, finely machined and the finish and color is really polished, not cheap at all! Naturally, the wood appearance is not really wood, but it does look really nice, even close up. Zero noise after it was all put together! But the best part of all is it has a tall, medium, or short assembly for the seat! See my pictures! That way the seat is not clipping the circulation at the back of my knees! My feet are flat on the floor when the seat is low and if I lift the seat all the way up, my feet sit very comfortably on the foot rests on the chair frame. I don’t recall this mentioned in any reviews or in the chair’s description but it should! That is huge! It’s a customization you don’t get with many chairs at this price point. I hope this chair is one step in the layers of improvements I'm making towards healing my poor nerves. I’m very pleased with my purchase, it wasn’t cheap but it wasn’t the most expensive either. I know this is my last chair for years to come!

Amazing chair and amazing customer service!
*UPDATE* 3/16/26 It's been around 5 months since I purchased this chair now. I still love it if not even more than when I originally got it. I think it became more comfortable after it's been broken in. The chair has not sagged at all and has held up great. The arm rests aren't as stiff and move up and down a lot easier now. I have sat on this chair for up to 6 hours at a time and it has never caused me any pain. Friends and family who have sat in the chair told me it's very nice and comfortable unprompted! Would still highly recommend to others!! I previously had a Secret Lab chair, and after struggling with months of back pain from the chair, I decided to start looking into ergonomic chairs. When looking online for "good" ergonomic chair brands or recommendations, all I saw were Steelcase or Herman Miller, and anything else was "garbage". I decided to keep looking and do my own research and eventually landed on this one. Initially, I was worried it might not meet my expectations because of everything I had been seeing online about how if it wasn’t a huge, expensive name brand, it was no good. I went ahead and ordered it and was pleasantly surprised. The chair took very little effort to build and was able to do it by myself in less than an hour. Sitting on it for the first time, it felt comfortable and supportive. I knew it wouldn't cause the same back problems that my Secret Lab chair gave me. The adjustability is lovely. I(5’5”, 190 lb female) fit very well into this chair, and the headrest is quite comfortable. My only gripe is that the armrests don't move side to side, but most of all, the firmness of the armrests. They are very hard and can get uncomfortable quickly, but not a huge deal since I have the armrests up most of the time. I had the opportunity to keep a Herman Miller Aeron chair, but since I only sit 2-4 hours maximum at my desk each day and preferred the adjustability of this chair, I sold the Aeron, as well as the Secret Lab, and kept this chair. I can't judge it for longevity yet but am hopeful it'll last the next 5 years or so. Lastly, customer service is excellent! I initially had issues with the gas lift of the chair, so I contacted them, and they promptly sent me a replacement gas lift as well as a lumbar support pillow. They are very kind and sent instructions on how to replace the gas lift. Winnie and Cayla have been very helpful. Thank you. TLDR: For the price It's a great chair and superb customer service!! Just buy it!!

Love this so much I'm getting a GABRYLLY chair tattoo! Just kidding, but I REALLY love this chair.
My X-Chair X2 (almost $2k) gave out after about 5 years in the seat and caused hip problems. Saw these and the reviews and grabbed one for about 85% LESS than the X-Chair. They weigh in at around 50 lbs so that means a solid and reliable feeling platform and quality materials. * The shipping On time. Arrived in a VERY sturdy box (great, given the weight). The contents were very neatly compartmentalized in some sort of padded silver protectors which felt very high-end. Everything was well protected. * The assembly: All the instructions and labeling were very clear and simple and in easy to read non-translated ENGLISH. All the hardware was neatly packaged and organized and they even included one extra of each screw size just in case. An easy to use tool, also included was all that was needed to assemble. Total time to get it done was about 20 minutes and only takes one person. The instructions even incorporate the sturdy shipping box in the instructions to hold the seat in place while attaching the back, eliminating the 2-man job requirement. Awesome! All the hardware is heavy duty. Solid, reassuring. * Functionality and comfort: A+. There is no perfect chair and I own Hermann Miller and of course, the X-chair this GABRYLLY replaced and understand that there is no "perfect" chair for most people. But this thing comes very close for me, especially at this price point. Super comfortable, and adjusts just fine for my needs. I'm a guitar teacher and also spend most of my other time sitting at my computer getting work done and running the business of my music studio, so LOTS of chair time. Being a guitar teacher, having the ability to rotate the armrests out of the way allow me to play and teach sitting down without the arms getting in the way of the guitar. Bonus. * Looks: The lines on this chair are very nice. A combination of sporty and classy and luxury all at the same time. Super happy with the looks and the color. * Also: I'm sure the casters supplied are of the same high caliber as far as sturdiness and roll-ability as the as the other chair components, but I always use "Office Oasis" rollers on my chairs because no matter what the chair, these wheels take any chair to another level. Plus they look really nice and come in different colors. * Bottom Line: If you're in the market for an office or gaming or guitar chair, save yourself some time and money and just get this chair while it's still available. You're welcome.

Best office chair for my jacked up back
I had to write a review after spending so much on this chair. I've never bought one this expensive before, and the reviews had me ready to open my wallet. So I'm here to join the chorus to tip you over the edge if you're wavering. First things first: The Cons. At 5'4", I'm the shortest person who should buy this chair. With the arms completely down and the seat completely down, it's fine, but I wouldn't mind an extra 1/2" lower on either. If you're shorter than 5'4" your feet won't touch the floor. I won't be able to replace the wheels with my skate casters, but oh well. FYI, it also wouldn't be great for someone with a big booty, but since my junk is NOT in my trunk, it works great for me. The arm adjustments could be more elaborate. They do go up and down on an angle that brings them further forward as they go up. For this money, I would have liked to be able to flip them up out of the way and/or turn them in and out. And they're attached to the seat back, so when the back reclines, the armrests go up. The directions seemed to miss a printing pass, as I could see all the words and the arrows supposedly pointing at a picture of the chair, but the chair wasn't there. Weird, but the assembly is intuitive enough that if you've ever put together furniture that comes in a box, you'll be fine. Now for the good stuff: The Pros Y'all, I can't express to you how jacked up my back is. I've got more hardware in my back than Home Depot, and there are several more disks ready to blow. I'm currently in PT for sciatica, trying to avoid another surgery. So believe me when I tell you my back is jacked up. Thus the expensive chair. I just can't function in a cheap office chair and laying back in my bed on Zoom calls isn't very professional. After reading all the reviews and looking up lists of The 10 Best Office Chairs for Jacked Up Backs, I settled on this one. Currently I can't sit in any chair without excruciating pain after 5 min or less, and when I get up I can't walk for a while. But THIS chair, well I've been sitting in it for over half an hour watching football (ya know, to test it out) and when I got up...I could walk! What magic is this!? I think I found my new easy chair! Just kidding. This isn't what I would call a "cozy" chair, though it is very comfortable for working at a desk. Less exciting pros include the simple-to-operate mechanisms, the reclining feature (including being able to hold it in 2 different reclining positions), and the comfortable seat. I had no idea a mesh seat could be so comfortable. This thing is very sturdy, and seems to be built to last, which is good because I can't afford to buy one of these every year. It was also very easy to put together myself, although another pair of arms would have been welcome when attaching the seat to the seat back. If your back is jacked up and you work at a desk, this chair is worth the money.

Good chair, very comfortable, go ahead and get it
Review is for GABRYLLY Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair, High Back Desk Chair I was a little concerned about this chair being that I am only 5'4" and according to the description, this chair is meant for a taller person. Don't worry, it fits fine, without issues. I can easily place both feet right on the ground, even being a "short" person. I use a foot rest anyway, so I see no issues if you are shorter using this chair. This chair is quite comfortable to sit in, with the back being very straight up. This is good and bad. You get lots of support like this, when you want to sit completely straight, but can easily lean back a bit for more comfort, when needed. You easily adjust the tension by the front knob that controls how hard you need to push back to adjust the back rest like most chairs that recline. Speaking of reclining, this chair reclines pretty far, and is very comfortable. The head rest you will need to fiddle with to make it custom fit for your head. This is the first time I have used a head rest of this type, and surprised at how comfortable it is. Putting the head rest on, while assembling the chair is the hardest part, and its quite easy to do. As some others have said, the seat mesh is a little "scratchy", but you get used to it. I have found that I like using a cushion on the seat for extended sitting sessions, but you may not need one. The mesh seat is quite comfortable, and sometimes I switch between using a cushion and sometimes not using one. You will have to see what works for you. One big reason I got this chair is the swing up arms. I prefer these type arms, since you can easily lift them up out of the way, where as other chairs you can't do this. This makes it easy to push in the chair very close to your desk, saving room. Customer Service. One word, OUTSTANDING! I have hard floors at home, and carpet at work. My work place bought me the same chair, so I bought one for home use. I emailed the company and asked about purchasing the roller type wheels for my home chair, and they offered me an additional set for the at work chair, which I didn't need. They were willing to ship me two sets for free! I declined the one for work, since its carpet and didn't need a set. Thats great customer service, which is rare now a days. Keep this in mind when shopping for a chair...there are lots out there, and this company stands behind their product. Assembly - standard for a chair like this, very easy to do, and they provide a simple video to watch. Maybe takes 10 minutes to put together, and you can do it yourself. If you have trouble lifting, you would need some assistance. Shipping - Chair comes very well packed in a sturdy box, no issues there. Quality - I did not have any issues with this chair. Very well put together. Chair options - It leans back pretty far, and with the included head rest, it is quite comfortable to lean back when you are tired for a quick rest, or even a quick, nap. (shhhh...don't tell the boss) You can lock the angle of the back to exactly where you want it, if you don't like having to push back to lean the back rest. So far I am quite happy with this chair. I have never had a full back mesh type chair, and think that this will last quite a while, even with daily use. I think you will be pleased with this purchase. While you may be able to find a similar chair for maybe a little less price, to me, the customer service you get with this purchase is really worth it. You know that they will stand behind your purchase and your being happy with your purchase of their product. I don't think you will be disappointed. *update* Its been 3 months since I purchased this chair and I can tell you 100% no issues with the chair at all. Its quite comfortable, and I would purchase another one, without hesitation. I can be sitting in this chair for long periods of time, with no issues. I do use a small seat cushion, just because I had it left from my previous chair, so might as well make use of it, but its not really needed for this chair. I am completely pleased with this purchase. No chair is perfect, but not being able to get into a chair and sit in it for yourself, shouldn't sway you from purchasing this. Its very comfortable, and even though I am 5'4", its perfect in size, and the head rest is great too. Easy to lean back when you are tired and take a quick nap. WFH...shhhhhhhhh....!! *Update #2* 4/24 I tend to give good reviews for products that I really like, and give updates to those products. This chair is one of those products that you need to know about. So far I have been using this chair everyday, for hours a day. This chair is top notch. Comfortable. Arms swing out of the way if you want...etc. I am really happy with this purchase and I think you will be too. Its hard buying a chair without trying it first, but you can be assured of the good reviews of this product. No joke. This is a good chair. I think you will be pleased. **Over 1 year later update** This is a great chair and probably one of the best I have purchased, but not the most expensive I have purchased. It is holding up just great, is just as comfortable as when I got it. ZERO complaints. I use it for hours everyday for computer work and gaming. Its a very comfortable chair and it seems it will last a good long time. Don't be on the fence any longer, you can stop looking now for a good chair. BUY IT. You will be pleased. **2025 UPDATE** This chair continues to please. Still no issues at all, ZERO. I use this chair for hours per day, very comfortable. If and when this chair starts giving "issues" as all chairs do overtime, I will not hesitate to buy a replacement chair from this same brand. Keep in mind that there are still no issues. Over the years I have purchased countless number of desk chairs, and this one is the best so far for the price point. I am completely satisfied as a customer. I am not being compensated, nor have I been contacted by the company to do any reviews, or speak positively about this purchase, I like when people update their reviews, so that you can know what you are getting into for the long haul and that in my case, no money was wasted on this purchase.

The BEST SERVICE EVER! Updated review…you NEED this chair!
UPDATE! The best customer service I’ve had in years has earned 5 ⭐️, and I’d give more if I could! Customer Service messaged me in response to my concerns and offered to send modification parts to lower the chair and the arm rests, extend the seat depth and provide better lumbar support - at no charge. The shipment arrived quickly and they even included a how-to video plus high quality tools to aid in assembly. It took ~20 minutes and the chair is PERFECT. I’m now going to purchase a second chair and see what else they have to offer. Customer for life - THANK YOU!!! Original review: I’ve been ‘test driving’ the chair since 12/22/25. I’m 5’7” and low-ave weight. Pros: Easy to assemble, quality feel, no squeaks, and somewhat comfortable. Love the color! Cons: The arms are too tall, even in their lowest position and do not turn in/out. The arms hit my standard height desk - not above or below - very annoying. Seat at its lowest setting is still high, also annoying. If the arms & seat could go 1 click further down it would be great. Seat depth is a bit short too…not comfortable unless my feet are up on an ottoman/stool. Lumbar support ok but not great, and not adjustable. Good if I sit stock-straight in the chair. The headrest is useless until you’re reclined as lumbar arc makes it tough to reach in an upright position. Unless I can figure out mods I’ll have to add it to my office chair graveyard as disassembly & repacking would be a huge pain.

GABRYLLY Ergonomic Office Chair with Footrest Comparison to Previous Chair
I received a new chair (Model GYMN01-BX) as a replacement for this previous chair (Model PF-01 - UPC 778942427000) that I had purchased from Gabrylly a few years ago. The previous chair (Model PF-01), was one in which I found after a few years of ownership that I could only give a 2-star review. I was asked by Gabrylly to evaluate the new chair compared to the model PF-01 that I previously owned. First of all, assembly took me approximately 45 minutes, and was very straight forward, simply following the instructions provided. I also thought that it was considerate that Gabrylly provided an extra fastener for each screw required to assemble the chair. The design of the included tool to assemble the chair as also very thoughtful. I found that it was not only convenient, but easy to use. I often resort to using my Milwaukee power tools for faster assembly on a product like this, but with the great design of the included tool, found that it was unnecessary to resort to any power tools. As to fit and comfort of the new chair, I have found that the seating comfort has been greatly improved with the new design. One thing that I did adjust was to turn the tension spring on the reclining back to its’ lowest setting so that it was easier to sit fully back into the seat. Without the easy reclining of the back, it seemed more difficult to sit fully in the seat. The redesign of the arm rests was also a nice improvement, as they easily slide back to better access the desk. I think that most users will greatly appreciate the change as it makes it unnecessary to have to lift the arms out of the way when you want to get closer to the work area. Having said that, I did find that the arm rests turn too easily from my perspective, and it would be nice if you could lock them in position. I generally keep them in the straight position versus rotating them left or right. However, that is just my personal preference, and probably wouldn’t make much difference to most customers. The ability to raise the arm height is another very nice feature, that will likely be appreciated by many of your customers. The extended leg rest is also another nice addition. I tried this new feature, but don’t personally use it myself. That might be one feature that the company may want to consider making optional if it will save any significant cost in the manufacturing process. The fittings could be threaded for the additional leg rest, but have it as a separate accessory to order like the seat pad. Obviously, the marketing department would have to consider that issue, and whether making the leg support feature optional would significantly affect initial sales of the chair. The head rest is another feature that the company may want to consider making optional. The head rest is a feature that I don’t really use much, but it does look really nice on the chair, so if there is not much cost differential, it is probably worth keeping. Again, this is another issue that would need to be assessed by marketing. The addition of the adjustable back support pad is another great new feature that was missing from the earlier chair. I keep it adjusted so that it just touches the mesh back, and that seems to work best for me. In summary, the comfort of the chair has been greatly improved over the previous Gabrylly chair that I owned. So far, I have spent as much as 6 to 8 hours seated in the chair, and have not experienced the leg and back discomfort that I experienced in the previous chair.

home office chair
Very comfortable chair, my neck and back realign after a few minutes sitting in it. My chair was easy to build, the parts were all marked correctly, and it was easy to follow the instructions. I recommend this chair to anyone looking for a great chair.
