Good Hair Days Magic-Grip Hairpins, 10 Styling Updo U-Pins for Strong Hold

Over the years I have purchased tons of hair clips and other doohickies for my fine hair and none really did the trick. This simple device is doing what no other products were able to do. I twirl up my hair in the back, put a couple of these little magic tools in and voila. I have the perfect, messy do up that stays put and just looks awesome. One of the best purchases I have made im years Thank you so much for this product.

I was amazed! I did not think these would work with my fine, thin hair but they were way better than traditional hair- or bobby-pins. They held all day and look nice besides.

I only gave this 3 stars because they don't stay in my hair well. They start off okay, but work themselves out with time. They do hold better if my hair is wet. I have very thick hair and have a difficult time finding hair accessories and styles that work for me. I am also terrible at styling my hair. I had hopes that these pins would help me to be able to put my hair in a bun style and actually hold it for the day; but it didn't work for me.

I think they are so awesome. Only downside is I have found that they are only a one use meaning once they have been used, they don’t hold that well

I love these! They work wonderfully for securing hair. I use them for updos like messy buns and French knots. Much more secure than hairpins alone😊

I’m growing out bangs. Yes, I should’ve done this during COVID lockdown…lesson learned. They've reached the awkward cheekbone but not ear tuck length, which is why it’s 6 years later and I still have bangs. Reviews on the Good Hair Days Magic-Grip Hairpins for fine hair were mixed. I decided to try them anyway. The pics are not flattering but i don't like pics of myself on a good day. I find the hairpins to be quite functional and comfortable for everyday use. They stay in place during normal activity. Do they survive pulling on/off a 1/4 zip? No. Walking? Yes. Aerobics class? No. They are an option along with headbands and ponytail holders. The day determines which hair accessory works best. My hair is silky straight, which is a blessing and a curse, so finding any hair accessory that holds in my freshly washed hair is a win. If I style while my hair is a) wet, b) with hair powder, c) a spritz of hairspray, or d) day 2 hair, they hold even better. I’m hopeful I’ll get my bangs grown out this time!

I think the hair pins are of good quality but don't work with my hair. I bought these French style magic grip hair pins based on reviews that raved how good they were for holding even the finest hair. UNFORTUNATELY, it was not true in my case. I have long, thin, fine/silky, hair and these pins would NOT stay in. I think they would probably work great for someone who has either thicker or coarser hair than I do. I'm really disappointed but I sort of expected disappointment because I've always had difficulty finding hair pins that will securely hold my hair. I tested them by trying to pin the hair back on the sides of my head and they wouldn't hold. The pins immediately slipped out and my hair fell. I will play around with them and see if I can find a suitable style to use with the pins (maybe a bun or something?) and if I get positive results I will update my review but for now I just don't think they are great for silky hair.

I was leery of ordering these based on some reviews, but they work wonderfully on my long, fine hair. I wear it up a lot, especially in the hot summers here in the desert. There are always those strands that want to escape. What I have found that works, as I wasn’t happy the first time I tried one, is to always point the tips at a slightly downward angle. If you look closely, the tips are slightly bent, and will hug your head if you put them in correctly. I am very happy with these, and would not hesitate to order again.

Halten die Haare nicht ganz so straff, wie die sehr teure Version aus dem Internet, trotzdem sind sie wirklich gut ohne zu ziepen. Man braucht dann vielleicht 1-2 Spangen mehr. Außerdem ist mir bis jetzt noch keine einzige zerbrochen. Anders als bei den teuren, da sind mir nach exakt 5 Monaten alle drei hintereinander zerbrochen. Kaufempfehlung!

Great hair pins, they hold the hair really well, a good length, better on thicker hair. Great value, non have broken yet.

Las orquillas de metal no me sujetan bien el cabello (lo tengo rizado, pesado y bastante) pero con estas no tengo problema alguno. Me encantaron
