Check and open the back lid under your laptop and see the slot for the appropriate type of pin you need before you purchase. You will need only a small philip screw driver when opening the back lid. You should purchase a DDR3I RAMs which has lower voltage than the regular DDR3 RAMs. I hope this helps. This is very easy plug and play device.

Good Product

I bought this item on a plan to add it to the existing 4gb ram on my HP Laptop and that's what I did. surprisingly, the Laptop became even slower than it was before. I had a doubt and removed the old 4gb ram and ran the system with only 8GB and it blew me away. Works very well and faster. I never understood why the other 4gb didn't work together with the new one. If anyone knows, please do comment.

I dismayed for the Amazon prime offer, but for the Crucial 8GB DDR4 2666Mhz it's perfect!

I thought the first order is free shipping, but why still have a delivery charged AED 10. And, I dismayed because prime offering that if I used my Debit card, they deliver my order in the next day, so I gave my trust in their offer. Tsk tsk tsk! I gave 5 stars for the item that I received because it's working well and no issue, so I recommend the seller.
