how do you care and clean for gummy yummy teether?

Item for recent purchase was a gift, but the one my child had when she was a child we put on top shelf of dishwasher. Great teether. One of mine and my child's most favorite items from Discovery Toys.

What country is this item made in?

I have no idea. I bought this when my baby was five months and now she is 2. Wherever it was it was made very well. Nothing falls apart or wears off.

what if water gets inside the toy?

Just like other toys you’ll want to squeeze out as much water as possible. Then I’ll Hans it upside down to dry. When I sanitize mind I try to cover the hole to minimize the amount of water that gets in. Hope that helps!

Would a 2 year old getting molars get much use out of this?

I would think so! My 1 year old grandson loves it! He has bottom and top front teeth now, and he is still using it!! He is definitely cutting teeth again! Not sure which one is going to be next! Good luck! It's definitely worth the money!
