great product and softens leather great
great for leather. Rub this in with cloth and leather softens up and soaks in overnight. Really does exceptional with conditioning leather jackets and motorcycle gear/bags. Would definitely keep extra of this handy in the junk draw for when needed. Waterproofs shoe great.

My cat wants to eat it
This sinks into the leather instantly, and a little bit goes a long way. Leaves the leather soft, smooth, and very well conditioned without leaving a greasy film behind or adding unwanted shine. Also doesn't leave any weird smells behind.....although my cat thinks it smells amazing and wants to eat it for some reason. At least she doesn't want to eat the leather that it's been used on.

works as mink oil should
If you have used this before then you know there is a little bit of a learning curve to applying this to different types of leather. That said it worked exactly as expected, softening and helping to waterproof the 2 pair of boots I used it on. I was very pleased with the results. Understand that depending on the type of leather this might change the color, usually making it darker than it was. such as my tan hiking boots went from a dark tan to a solid brown color.

Not bad so far.
The container is nice, in that the top screws on, to keep it secure. It's easy to apply, and the scent is close to nothing at all. Seems I remembered mink oil had a much stronger smell. Within minutes, I can tell my boots are really soaking this stuff up. I put a liberal amount on them and put them in the sun to absorb it well. The things I am expecting is that the leather may get so soft that it damages easily. I also hope it waterproofs well. I got in some water the other day and it ruined my $25 insoles, so I hope this mink oil will save my new insoles if I get in water again. I'm not sure how well it will waterproof though, as I applied it with a rag. Afterwards, I went to wash the rag in the sink with some Dawn. The spots I used wouldn't even repel the water before using soap. I'm afraid this may not turn out well, but I will have to wait and see.

Good product
Good product. I've used it on shoes primarily, and works very well. I've also used it on my filson bag's leather parts, primarily to preserve and soften them, and that was another win. The leather strap was damaging my clothing around the shoulder and chest, so after treating it it softened considerably.

Great for baseball gloves
My husband breaks in baseball mitts for a bunch of the boys on our sonโs baseball team every year. He uses this Oil to help in the process and it works great. Doe not have a strong odor and does a great job of conditioning the gloves. You get a decent amount for the price compared to other options out there.

For leather
Got this mink oil for weather proof of my leather boots It appears to work well. Was for easy to apply on leather. The leather appears to be softer after applying this mink oil . The leather appeared to darken up a bit after applying.

A fantastic product with more uses than weatherproofing!
Works wonders on smooth leather products. The boots shown in the photo were a dull, yet light reddish-brown when I first got them. Off the bat from the advice of friend I got recommended to put any type of mink oil on them to protect them. These boots ended up being such a tad darker, but richer color after the application. They also softened up just tad and added to the already flexible and thin leather that made up these boots. Definitely worth spending the little money to make sure they're conditioned for the future. Remember to also reapply the oil every so often once the product you apply this to starts to lighten up in color. Pros: - affordable - great weather and water protection - reduces stiffness slightly - Enhances color Cons: - darkens leather products (I didn't have an issue with this as the end product looked nicer)

Good Quality Mink Oil
Applied to Leather Wallet, Belts, Shoes, Sandals. All look good. Can check the picture of wallet before and after application to see the difference it makes to leather. Good quality Mink Oil can be seen from the fact that it gets absorbed well and leather gets a dark tone. Had bought at Rs 1818
