Be realistic and you’ll love it! - Wanted a cage on wheels. My parrotlet is a shredder, and therefore messy AF. Got tired of dragging his table and cage around to vacuum around daily. Also, he loves his window view but during the summer months it can get strong. It’s so easy to just roll him around and give him some shade as needed. Yes, assembly is not for the weak. But people have to have realistic expectations of putting things together. Just use common sense when piecing things together etc. When things aren’t aligned, bend them a little. My husband did most of it alone in like 15 minutes, but once and while having two sets of hands was helpful for holding and aligning. To address some concerns I saw on here: 1) Yes there is gapping in some areas. See my pictures. My bird is not an escape artist, but if yours is, you may need to zip tie. 2) Yes the cage doesn’t feel extremely stable on the roller bottom and the red clips are useless, but all I did was zip tie each corner. 100% stable now, no issues. And if I need to remove the cage which has been zero times in 3 months, I’d just cut the ties. Not an issue. People just have to be creative and not expect everything in their lap. Cage is nice to look at, teal color beautiful and great for a very small (Budgie, Parrotlet, Love Bird, etc.). I have a Parrotlet and now he has plenty of room to fly from perch to perch. The base is pretty sturdy and I like that the wheels lock. There is also plenty of room to store food and supplies on rack below. The BAD. Instructions are HORRIBLE and cage is very very flimsy. You have to be careful not to bend the bars when assembling. We watched the assembly video for the larger version and that helped. The food/water bowls are not CLEAR PLASTIC as photos depict and just plain cheap looking. They are also IMO set way too far apart (on on each side of cage) set inside flimsy pull up doors. I will buy stainless steel bowls that hang. The main door is also very flimsy and you MUST invest in some snap hooks in order to make sure your bird cannot get out. I would NEVER use this cage for a larger or stronger beaked bird (i.e., Green Cheek). The cage is just not sturdy enough and pretty much is probably worth just what they are charging - actually less. Once again I knew I was not looking for another expensive well made cage, since my bird is so tiny. So for my baby this will work just fine.
