This product performed as advertised. For this price, you are not going to get a thick pad, but it does protect the surface of the table from spills. Some people find deep creases that are hard to remove. My pad had creases that were easy to fix, so didn't even need to tumble in dryer with damp towel. Recommend.

easy to custom fit

If I could add a half star I would raise to 3 1/2; 3 feels a little low. I purchased two sizes, one for everyday use, and an additional for when I expand the length with the table leaf. The padding is extremely thin, but I am hopeful that in usage this protective cover will be sufficient. The padding is quite wrinkled, even beyond the heavy creases of the fold lines. I'm going to give these padded protectors a chance. Perhaps if I use heavy enough table cloths the fold line and wrinkles will not show . UPDATE: I have used both purchased sizes of the table protectors. On the positive, their thinness allows for the cover to bend gently, weighted down by the decorative table cloth. Be forewarned that when you remove the cover from your new shiney wooden table, it will appear to be heavily covered with dust! ... a LOT of the fuzzy stuff (which apparently is the "cushioned padding") was left behind). I "dusted" before recovering the table. The fuzzies caught onto the tiniest imperfections of the table top and I had to remove those pieces one by one. I will continue to use these table protectors, and we'll see how long the "padding" lasts. For now, they are doing the job.

Great size while also convenient to cut-to-size if needed. One side cleans super easily while the backside is flannel and protect my table from heat, stains and scratches. Can't even tell it's under my table cloth. Great product and great value!
