2.5K WiFi Security Camera Outdoor Surveillance with PoE

I replaced my older generation of Genbolt cameras which I gave to my brother when his property was being renovated. Installation: Installation is a breeze if using POE or you can use a POE to DC and Ethernet splitter both options work well. The provided template makes it a breeze to install with screws and Rawl plugs provided. Setup and Configuration Configuration takes a couple of minutes using the mobile app to discover, change the default username and password, format SD card, set OSD, TimeZone and any alerts plus schedule. Image quality, features and usage: Micro SD card support, POE, night vision with IR is clear and can be further adjusted using brightness and contrast controls. PTZ is responsive. H265 codec saves tonnes of space infact a 128GB card can do 5 weeks of constant recording! Intelligent vision is very useful as it switches to full colour upon motion detection. You can setup three detection zones with different sensitivity levels but only using Internet Explorer which is my only gripe. Mobile App Mobile app is simple and intuitive to use. Watching previous recordings over 4G works fine with audio also recorded. Third party support: ONVIF support is present, which means I can view the cameras from my Android TV using TinyCam pro and also FTP support means recording can go to my Synology NAS or you can even use Synology DSCAM and further refine the motion detection areas. I'll be testing them with BlueIris at some point but for now, I'm very happy with the features and picture quality. All in all, I highly recommend these versatile cameras.

Got this camera to replace old one nice and easy to install,good instructions to install on to my phone, good quality picture in and at night best thing you can go to full colour a night,no subscription is required will be order another in the future

I've tried a couple of different night / day vision cameras and this has been the best. Its daytime and nightime vision are excellent, thanks to infra-red LEDs which light up an area about 5-10m radius around the camera. Motion detection is good, and it can distinguish between a person and an animal if you wish. It can also stream two separate ONVIF streams (e.g. for other home security monitoring systems to use, such as Motioneye) in different resolutions simultaneously and is highly configurable. The app works well, but has a tendency to lose network connection to the camera fairly readily, even when both have good WiFi strength, which is why it loses a star. All round we're very happy with this and it allows us to watch our dog out the back of the house, and the hedgehogs in my Dad's garden!

Fed up with battery powered competitor cameras I took a punt on this. Glad I did. It was a good price, easy set up (if you connect to router via LAN cable first) and works great. Power cable is decent length for getting it back indoors. The other cable glands are quite big but can easily be tucked up into a soffit. The quality of the images are excellent. The only criticism is the lense is not as wide angle as my previous one so imagery looks more zoomed in but only slightly. This would be solved by moving camera position rearward somehow but I don’t have space for that. Doesn’t come with SD card I bought a £8.99 one on Amazon. Overall very pleased.

I bought this to replace another Genbolt Camera. The other camera was 5MP and this one is 3MP so I was concerned about the possible loss of quality but this one is very impressive with it's night vision in colour. The 'Humanoid' detection and tracking works very well, it's a bit lumpy when moving the camera around but at the price it's great value. Unlike other companies who restrict your storage options to the camera and their cloud services, the GENBOLT allows you to store images locally, I have a NVR (Network Video Recorder) and a couple of cameras from other suppliers so can use them. Possible the only complaint is that it's a bit too sensitive as it picks people up on the road outside but I was impressed with the way it decided to point itself in the corrects direction as it is on the side of the house and points down the drive, and will track people walking to our front door. Setup is really easy using the Genbolt Cam App (there are 3 apps by (Genbolt). I mad a template with a piece of card to drill the holes in the brick in the correct places. The power wire comes out through a hole in the corner of the window frame. One criticism of all the cam suppliers is that they don't supply small junction boxes to join/ hide the cables, they should also supply a proper blanking plug for the network cable (i used a small piece of wire to block it. Another tip is to take a photo of the QR code on the camera - it would be better if this was supplied separately as well as on the camera.

i originally bought 2 cameras which were on offer at the time, but now ive ended up buying 4 more, and more soon for some family members to install at their properties. The build quality of the cameras is very good for the money, easy instructions, but i didn't really use them as ive installed alot of CCTV in the past. installing was very straight forward, i used wired Ethernet aswell as the power feed. the app lets you set up alerts, triggers and gives you the option of controlling the camera. other software is available for PC, MAC, IOS and Android. picture quality is excellent. able to make out details on people, cars ect. works well at night too and having the security light function is a bonus. you can set of alarms and warnings, aswell as speaking back through the app, i haven't tried this yet but will do over the next few days. you wont be disappointed !

Does work

I had been looking and looking at various cameras of this variety. This one stood out more as it had everything I needed... rotatable, great night vision, and very easy to use app. I am disabled so had to ask someone to fit it outside where I wanted it. I hadn't realised it needed an SD card until it was in on the wall, and wasn't sure where it went to figure if I could do it or needed someone else to do it. I decided to email the company to ask. They got back to me extremely quickly. With pictures and advice. I explained I'd be getting an SD card eventually, they actually went and sent me a 32GB one! I finally fit it, and emailed to ask how to set the recording (I'd done it I just needed to check it was right) and again they replied nearly straight away with a succinct and understandable method. As for the camera itself.. it has brilliant vision in both day and night mode. There are bright LED lights which are great when triggered at night. The control from the app is easy to understand and use. Someone said it had a 90's layout, I'm not sure what they meant but I find the app user-friendly and self explanatory. The camera has been battered by the winds recently and has offered only stable pictures and videos. The motion detection is spot on as is controlling it from the app. I can fully recommend this product. Not just for the product but for the continuing support from their tech team.

Amazonで、太陽光パネル式を含めて様々な防カメを購入して使ってきた。各製品にはそれぞれ特徴もあるがほぼ満足している。導入防カメの中には、屋外用の太陽光パネル式の中でも希有な24H常時録画可能の防カメ（大型太陽光パネル２枚で大発電量）もそれなりに使えた（冬場は…モバイルバッテリーをカメラの直近に…プラ弁当箱の中に入れ切り替えで運用）。４年目で故障したのでこの電源（コンセント）供給式の、この防カメを購入…設置場所を変えて建物から電源供給とした。やはり電源供給式は内蔵電池不足を心配する必要もなく安定感がある。 高画質、撮影方向の自由度、拡大、夜間ライトなど全て網羅されていた。 又、防カメは運用アプリも様々であるが…この機種のアプリの場合、録画ファイル閲覧の際 ◯常録画（１ファイル単位で録画時間設定可）ファイルと ◯アラーム（センサー録画…15秒）ファイル が、一覧で表示される方式！ これはわかりやすい…アラーム録画ファイルと常時録画ファイルが時系列で並ぶ形式なので、詳細を確認はその前後のファイルを容易に視聴可能である。 録画ファイルもスマホに容易にダウンロード、スマホでも視聴可能なのでとても使い勝手がいい。 防カメは、多くのメーカーから発売されているので気がつくと廃盤になってしまっていることも散見されるので、今のうちに…と、買い増しを考えているところ。

Good camera and the price is reasonable too. Voice is clear and image is better

La videocamera risulta abbastanza silenziosa, con una buona visione sia di giorno che di notte. Buona la funzione di tracciatura movimenti. Supporta protocollo onvif e funziona bene anche in POE. Buona copertura del wifi e nessun problema con collegamento lan. Consiglio questa videocamera, compatibile anche con app CamHi Pro, con la quale ho altre telecamere collegate.
