Fitted to a 2005 New Beetle with Projector lamps, the standard setup is not fit for purpose and the Nightbreaker bulbs offer minimal improvement. Make sure the lenses are clear from Clouding using a 3M Headlight Restore Kit or similar. I had to drill a small hole in the rear headlight cover for the wires, but aside from that straightforward. How well they work will vary across manufacturers, and avoid touching the bulb as that will lead to premature failure. I opted for the 5000k color, and I'm really happy with how it looks inside and outside. It's no brand new car level of brightness but a massive improvement over the original. For older cars, the 5000k or 4300k might be a more suitable colour option. At £25ish they are good value for money, if they break after 3months I'll replace them as the safety they have given me is worth it. So far the lifespan has exceeded what the other reviews stated. Worth noting if you have auto lights, or turn on your dipped before you turn on your ignition, they don't like rapid on/off/on cycles and one or both might not ignite. Never had one do this in normal operation, I assume the ballast/ignitor takes a moment to re-energise. Above all, price and convenience are king here

load of crap. Modules aren’t insulated so slightest bit of moisture and they blew up. Not exactly good for something that’s supposed to be outside the car… Buy cheap, pay twice!

The ballasts are slim and easily located. Worked for about 2 months then a bulb blew and wiped out the ballast with it (tried the remaining bulb to test). Not the brightest I've seen but certainly brighter than a halogen! If you want bright, effective and long lasting I'd recommend Stealth kits.

They arrived in good time, good packaging but they did not last very long in my headlights until the bulbs blown. I swapped a good bulb with the same ballast and it lit up..

Purchase this product on the 6 of November 2021 and the have gave up after 2 months the quality I'd not the best.
